The only thing this is really going to have in common with the former faction is the name and the use of technology/bases, because lots of people cried about these things still being in the mod.

We wouldnt have asked the community for ideas if we wanted to bring them back in the way they were (and yes Virus, that would be your call, this is a call for a different concept that uses ships and bases of the old in order to give these things a use, so in my oppinion it really isnt something that needs your approval).

Does this mean that I can submit a SRP for a Necrosis by simply calling it differently?

Then why call them Phantoms, at all?

Find a new name, make something new. I'm not saying you shouldn't use the assets or station or NPCs. You should.

What you seem to want to do is take something I put multiple years of my life into and gut it.

Use the in-game assets for something new and interesting. Let the name Phantom die.

Why do you want to use their name then?

You want to use the name of the Phantoms? Base on their foundations? You need Virus's approval for. Unless you really want to declare a total admin dictatorship. Phooms were his and Kane's idea. You have no right to use them for your ideas.

Naturally. The Scimitar import Star W(edit: Trek, how confusing) model clone cruiser will become the IMG battle transport of tomorrow.

Edit2: Total admin dictatorship is, y'know, what the admins are for. Virus's opinion is important, yes, due to RP possession, but honestly if this is going to be a clean sweep using purely old mod content then this falls firmly in the admin/dev ballpark. Sentimentalism is unimportant in this instance if this is how Jansen desires to go about it.
