I have an idea to lower the time needed for base/manufacte grind. Yes, bases supposed to be managed by groups, but still, they need a large amount of time even if 3-4 person attends to one, thus less time remains for their RP. Base grindng is not really an RP process, and the low cargo value also lowers the piracy interactions. Also, with update 6, base construction rewuirements will be lowered (to half,perhaps?), but still, it is a lot of time to just grind.
Idea: base supply ship:
10k cargo;
only the base related items can be placed into the cargo hold;
low maneuverability (not so low it makes the piloting of the ship uncomfortable);
no thruster (possibility);
available to most IDs (except generics, like freelancer and pirate and recruit);
One could submit, if one were so inclined, that if a base can't be maintained with 3-4 people, then one should simply employ more people for continued maintenance. If one doesn't like the work involved, and would prefer an easier, softer way, then one has no business having a base that needs to be maintained at all & should focus their attentions on things that are more to their speed & willingness
While part of me wants to say "yes" to having a better ship to trade/supply with, I really wonder if it wouldn't be better to just focus on getting more people in 5kers than less people in 10kers.
