Upon concluding my time with Mr aerelm, I decided to head back to Liberty. Something strange was happening however, The Artifact I had in my cargo hold was reacting to something. Energy signatures suggested an increase in activity, Surges of energy exposed itself from the Artifact. It was truly remarkable. I have never witnessed such a thing before. I have kept a record of the occurrence, Both Audio and Visual files have been stored within my Neural Net, in the hope that I can revisit the documented records, Perhaps there is something I did not pick up on whilst there.

=LSF=Virgo: This is remarkable.
=LSF=Virgo: I have never seen anything like this.
aerelm: Time to hit the bar. I'll see what I can dig up about that researcher gal-pal of yours meanwhile.
=LSF=Virgo: Until we meet again.
=LSF=Virgo: I'm picking up interference.
=LSF=Virgo: What is this....

=LSF=Virgo: Scanning...

Strange things have been occurring.. I have been conducting more research into the Artifact I obtained from the Coronado system. My operative there explained it could be used to access the Alien Gate that is within the Coronado system. My initial findings came as a surprise, but anything of nomad origin normally does. Shortly after conversing with aerelm, the Artifact generated active energy signatures, as if something within the Omicron Delta system had caused it to... well transmit. Is it possible that this Artifact could be more than what it appears to be.. I don't know, but perhaps Pennybrooke could assist me.
After waiting around for some time, It seems Lord Moka has finally found something for me to do. He wants me to bring him the heads of one hundred Liberty Navy pilots. I expected that much, but that's only to earn his trust. So this is the Lord Moka fella everyone was boasting about, some sadistic fruit loop hell bent on causing as much destruction as he can. I suppose I'll have to get to it then, I might as well make as much money as I can from it too, it's more than likely I will need the funding later on. Besides, the best way to catch his attention is to have a wad of cash in my pocket.
I'll also need to grace Nicole with my attention again, the tasks she has set before me are challenging, but not impossible. I have a plan, It will give me enough time to get the device from Nicole, whilst she has a lot of "light reading" to do in regards to Eureka Research Station, giving me just enough time to escape Liberty. I can only hope this all works out for me..
I find myself once again being overwhelmed with the countless tasks set before me. I have been collecting the heads of Liberty's finest Navy pilots at my own discretion so that I may gain the trust of Lord Moka. I have been conducting thorough research into Eureka Research Station in the hope that I can acquire the documents Nicole Hunter requested from me. I have been conducting research into the Artifact I acquired from an operative of mine in the Coronado system. Not to mention working for the Liberty Security Force simultaneously to prevent them from poking there noses in my independent work.
Now I find myself back in contact with Itziar Leiseka, She seemed so much more apprehensive than usual.
Itziar Leiseka #Curious Things 389900898 Wrote:=LSF=Champion: Good Day Itziar.
=LSF=Champion: Ryan Bishop here.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: What do you have to report?...
=LSF=Champion: It seems I am making great progress in regards to acquiring your Liquid Cardamine.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Do you?...
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Its been weeks you've been trying to achieve it...
=LSF=Champion: Forgive the delay, It seems acquiring your substance is proving harder than I originally anticipated.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: I've also heard your presence in the omicrons didn't go unnoticed...
=LSF=Champion: How so?
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: You seem to attract too much attention, that leads me into uncomfortable situations.
=LSF=Champion: I see... I do hope I have not compromised your position at all.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: I hope that too...
=LSF=Champion: I have had to establish certain contacts.
=LSF=Champion: To acquire your precious substance.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Do you think you'll succeed in obtaining it?
=LSF=Champion: Absolutely, I have no doubt. The lead I have been given is my gateway so to speak.
=LSF=Champion: She will be able provide me with your substance.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Good.
=LSF=Champion: However, there have been certain events that have occurred within Liberty that has some what delayed my search.
=LSF=Champion: It may take some time, but I can assure you that it will be delivered nevertheless.
=LSF=Champion: You see it is vital that I acquire your substance so that I can carry out my research.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: I'm glad to hear that...
=LSF=Champion: I will keep you updated in regards to the task you have set before me.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Do so...
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: I am not sure for how long this channel will be secure
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: There are rumours someone is watching me...
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: I wouldn't like to explain this to anyone.
=LSF=Champion: Perhaps if you get a name?
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Ill find out soon enough.
=LSF=Champion: Good, once you have, keep me posted. I will assist were I can.
=LSF=Champion: I can not allow failure due to a certain interruption.
Itziar.Leiseka[101st]: Keep me updated then, I am leaving Liberty now...
=LSF=Champion: Good luck my friend. Safe skies.
It seems that my operative within the Omicron Systems caught the attention of Itziar Leiseka, or at least it is suggestive that, that may have happened. Given aerelm was the only person I had contact with that day. It looks like I may have to watch myself with this one, business is business after all, I should of anticipated that something like this may have happened, I may have to be a bit more discreet with what it is I am getting up to. Whomever is following Itziar, they must be after something important. I wonder what they are trying to gain.. Perhaps Itziar has a lot more to hide than I originally thought, nevertheless I can't afford for our business to be compromised. Once Itziar has provided me with a name, then I can get to work on taking care of those loose ends.
Although I may be making small steps within each task, there is at least progress their, I need to balance time consumption, perhaps laying off the Artifact may do me some good, then I can concentrate solely on the major tasks set before me.
Also, it seems I can enjoy the fact that real progress has been made in regards to the Wraith class vessel. After testing phases on the Wraith were completed, It became apparent that we have completed what I set out to achieve by combining Liberty Technology with Rheinland Engineering and now I am happy to announce that the Wraith class vessel is now able to equip Liberty Technology on said vessel. This is real progress, especially since I didn't have the blue prints, the information I obtained from Jeske Vardogr in regards to the vessel however gave me a platform to work from. Reverse Engineering.. Genius.. Now I have a third vessel within my possession.
I received reports from headquarters, of a Rheinland Agent present within Liberty, I took it upon myself to find him and question him. Given Major Jeske Vardogr is still being held on Sugarland, I need to ensure that this "Agent" is not monitoring our movements. It seems this particular pilot was none too concerned about Jeske Vardogr, upon mentioning his name he was quite dismissive about it, claiming he was only a tourist. It seems there is more to this agent than I originally anticipated. I soon tracked him down and we conversed further. There is a lot I can gain from him, despite his apprehension in regards to revealing his true role.
The Secretive Type #8098-23987109 Wrote:=LSF=Champion: Calm down Rheinlander.
=LSF=Champion: I just want to talk.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: A likely story.
=LSF=Champion: This may be beneficial to both of us.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Oh?
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: And what did you have in mind?
=LSF=Champion: Information.
=LSF=Champion: Vital information in fact.
=LSF=Champion: Something you may be interested in.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: I'm listening.
=LSF=Champion: As before I mentioned a Jeske Vardogr.
=LSF=Champion: He is within the Rheinland Military
=LSF=Champion: Or so he claims.
=LSF=Champion: He has recently been secured by Liberty Security personnel.
=LSF=Champion: And was guided to a secure prison.
=LSF=Champion: Were he will be interrogated.
=LSF=Champion: Now Rheinlander.
=LSF=Champion: Prior to his arrest.
=LSF=Champion: He willingly submitted a Wraith class vessel to my technicians.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Oh?
=LSF=Champion: What was a cause for concern however.
=LSF=Champion: Scans of his vessel had revealed energy signatures of unknown origin....
=LSF=Champion: It seems he is not what he appears to be.
=LSF=Champion: Now Rheinlander.
=LSF=Champion: We both wouldn't want Liberty to start manufacturing Wraith class vessels now would we?
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Heh. I'm fairly certain that both of our houses have enough wrecks to reverse engineer each of our respective ships.
=LSF=Champion: Well, after thorough analysis of the vessel, we concluded that it even had nomad technology within the vessel.
=LSF=Champion: Which brings me to wonder.
=LSF=Champion: Jeske Vardogr, a major in rank.
=LSF=Champion: Claimed that the Kanzler has been tampering with nomad technology.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: That's interesting. Seeing how you Libertonians have tinkered with Nomad technology for decades now.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: I'm sure you already know exactly where gate and lane technology comes from.
=LSF=Champion: For a tourist you seem to know a lot about Liberty's affairs.
=LSF=Champion: Nevertheless, given you claim you know nothing about Major Vardogr.
=LSF=Champion: Which is a surprise given your actual role.
=LSF=Champion: It leads me to wonder why your here in Liberty?
=LSF=Champion: And perhaps you can assist me in a certain endeavour of mine.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: I have said nothing to indicate that I am anything more than a civilian on holiday.
=LSF=Champion: Yet your research in your hold is suggestive that this is more than a holiday.
=LSF=Champion: Liquid Cardamine...
=LSF=Champion: Interesting that you just so happen to have such a rare substance.
=LSF=Champion: Tell me, Rheinlander
=LSF=Champion: How have you obtained such a thing?
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Oh, you mean my souvenir? I happened upon it.
=LSF=Champion: Souvenir you say?
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: I'm sure, if you contacted my tourism agency, something can be arranged to sell you a sample.
=LSF=Champion: Your still claiming to be a tourist I see.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Perhaps under different circumstances things would be different.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: I'm sure you can understand the complications.
=LSF=Champion: Of course.
=LSF=Champion: Another time perhaps.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: And with that, I bid you good day. I have other business to attend to.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: As an after thought.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: If your need for a certain commodity is for something non-military related
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Do give my organization a message. I'm sure we can work something out.
=LSF=Champion: And how might I get in contact with your.. organisation..
=LSF=Champion: Since this is a private matter.
=LSF=Champion: It would be more ideal for me to contact you via another alias of mine.
=LSF=Champion: To avoid any un pleasantries.
BDM|LV-Sleipnir: Contact the University of New Berlin. There is a private college called the Ravenholm Polytechnic Institute.
Once I have made sure the Wraith vessel I secured from Jeske Vardogr is in working order, I will have to fly to Ravenholm, hopefully I will have the opportunity to further study Liquid Cardamine and even acquire a sample of it.
Today is the day that Jeske Vardogr is transported too Prison Station Mitchell within the Alaska System. I am quite aware of the importance of this task and I am very apprehensive about what may or may not unfold. If intelligence is right... God forbid...
The Task At Hand #8707-21877 Wrote:LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Hmm.. Where did your colleague go?
=LSF=Champion: My colleague may have had to direct his attention aboard Sugarland for the time being
=LSF=Champion: It's quite likely he is securing the prisoner.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Very well possible. I wasn't briefed.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: All I know is that my ship was "boarded" by a group of... your kind. No questions asked.
=LSF=Champion: All you need to know is that we are escorting the prisoner to a high priority prison.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: *nods*
=LSF=Champion: Security protocol has been implemented to ensure your safety.
=LSF=Champion: Not to mention the prisoner.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Oh well. It's not like I'm getting paid to ask what you're going to do with him.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Quite the opposite, actually.
=LSF=Champion: This is a need to know basis, you don't really need to know anymore than you already do sir.
=LSF=Champion: Apologies for the secrecy.
=LSF=Champion: You know how we operate of course.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: I think you misunderstood me, Agent.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: I'm getting paid to "not" ask what you're doing. I'm not complaining.
=LSF=Champion: I see.
=LSF=Champion: I do hope your being paid handsomely.
=LSF=Champion: Nice to see you again Officer.
=LSF=Champion: Sorry our last meeting was rather hectic.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Oh, right, you're talking to me.
=LSF=Champion: I didn't quite catch your name.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Excuse me. Routine patrols like this one tend to make my mind drift everywhere but.. well, you know.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: The name's Rokuro. My call sign should tell you the rest.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: What's yours, then, since you're inquiring?
=LSF=Champion: Pleasure. Ryan, Ryan Knowles.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Linda Baker. Evening.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Didn't expect you to actually say your name.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: What a pleasant surprise.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Me neither, to be entirely honest.
=LSF=Champion: Whether or not I provided you with an alias is up to you to decide.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Correction: One of them. Probably.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Why fly around with such an incredibly fancy codename only to give away your name just like that?
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: "Champion", eh.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: I do suppose "Loser" wouldn't be quite as impressive a name.
=LSF=Champion: Names change on a day to day basis in my world.
=LSF=Champion: Perhaps tomorrow I will consider the name Loser.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: So, we're floating around here, now.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Correct. Well observed.
=LSF=Champion: Indeed.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Where exactly are we headed, Baker?
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: And most importantly, when are we heading there?
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: My hastily sketched flight plan tells me that we're headed "somewhere" in New York.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: I'm sure Mister Many-Names over there can't tell you the details.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: In case you're interested.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: That's helpful.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: We're going "somewhere". I never would've guessed.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: No, no, no. "Somewhere".
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: That's what I said.
=LSF=Champion: Well could you expect anything more from someone who has many names?
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: *sighs*
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Right, and when are we going there, then?
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: The Terminal Island looks pretty whether it is in motion or not, that's true, but I'm sure
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: we're supposed to move out at some point.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: If the answer to this question is "Sometime", I'll be sorely disappointed.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Oh, it's not sometime. That "was"specified in the flight plan.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Half an hour ago or something.
=LSF=Champion: I am biding my time for now, until my colleague returns.
=LSF=Champion: If not, then I will progress without him.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Hah. Your colleague is being even more mysterious than you are. Disappeared without a trace, has he?
=LSF=Champion: So it seems. Quite the liability too.
=LSF=Champion: Considering the priority of this task.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Oh. It's an important task now, is it?
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: I thought I was assigned to a very simple escort job.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Fetch a few prisoners from Sugarland, drop them off who-knows-where, maybe shoot a Rogue or two on the way there.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: I got a large crate and a few angry men in sun glasses. They're not telling me much.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Oh, sunglasses.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Can't be a special agent without sun glasses.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Or a black suit.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Yes. You know the kind.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: *sighs*
=LSF=Champion: I can't say I have ever worn sun glasses.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: You have to look like you're horribly constipated, too.
=LSF=Champion: That's a given, yes.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Mmm.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Oh.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: There you are.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Your constipated colleagues down in the cargo hold were getting rather cross.
=LSF=Champion: Ah, welcome to the party Agent..
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: That's how I'm picturing you, Knowles. Black suit. Sunglasses. Angry expression. Permanent frown.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: An earpiece or two, too.
=LSF=Champion: The suit is mandatory, the frown and the angry expression not
so much.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: But you can't be a real "Agent" without them, right?
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Imagine a smiling agent, more casually dressed, without sunglasses.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Hardly an agent, really.
=LSF=Champion: Your view on the way we look is fascinating.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Thanks.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Alright. Nav Computer set for "somewhere". Looks like we should be good to go.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Agents?
=LSF=Champion: Okay
=LSF=Champion: Let's proceed to Houston, independent flight.
=LSF=Champion: Avoid the Trade Lanes.
=LSF=Champion: Fairly simple.
=LSF=Champion: Move out.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: I'm sure you, in turn, expect me to be overweight to a comical extent. You know. So fat that I end up
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: breathing heavily when I walk for a minute or two.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Oh, right, duty calls.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Green across the board. Next stop: Houston.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Alright. Formed up. Dozing off again.
=LSF=Champion: Sun bucks not doing it for you?
=LSF=Champion: I imagine your not in short supply of that Rokuro.
=LSF=Champion: All green so far.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: I find your view of how I must live fascinating.
=LSF=Champion: Thanks.
At least I am in the company of a comedian with a profound sense of how Agent's should conduct themselves. Amazing how prejudice thought can manifest itself into stereotyping a person regardless of rank. I like this guy, he managed to cheer me up, a cop with a sense of humour is hard to come by I guess. Well, time to move out, hopefully this will just be a simple task. I can only hope after all.
Skidbladnir: We're well clear Mein Herr, Returning to the community
RNC-StahlAuge: Waap: Licht, you must make your own way
RNC-StahlAuge: Waap: Terminal Island, we apologise for this inconvenience to your men
RNC-StahlAuge: Waap: You are free to go
RNC-StahlAuge: Waap: All crew, stations!
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: I'm not entirely sure what just happened.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Focused on combat, you know.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: A status report would be real nice, Terminal Island.
=LSF=Champion: Baker are you alright?
=LSF=Champion: Sit Rep? any casualties?
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: ...Well.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Looks like we've got comms, at least.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: And twenty or so injured below decks.
=LSF=Champion: The prisoner?
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Secured.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: The crate down in the cargo hold seems intact. Can't find your Agents, though.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Maybe if you'd ordered us to try and prevent the boarding operation, instead of going for its escort.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: But I'm sure that the agent knows best.
=LSF=Champion: Something we anticipated already Rokuro
=LSF=Champion: Hence the twenty or so Agents injured.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Oh. Oh. Please don't tell me you didn't "anticipate" this without telling me.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Those twenty injured weren't your "agents". Well, not most of them, anyhow.
=LSF=Champion: It was a need to know basis Baker.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Consider me amused.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: "Need to know basis."
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: I'm fairly sure that, had Baker "known" we'd have been able to come out this better.
=LSF=Champion: It seems you have the Artifact on board still.
=LSF=Champion: Good..
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Are you going to be needing your crate, or would you mind me pushing it out an airlock?
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: I presume there's somebody looking for that as well.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Please don't ask me to carry that again.
=LSF=Champion: Feel free to hand it over to myself.
=LSF=Champion: The prisoner was the most intricate thing I believe.
=LSF=Champion: It seems Jeske Vardogr had other plans.
=LSF=Champion: He will be questioned in regards to the events that unfolded before us, that is when he has regained consciousness.
=LSF=Champion: Rokuro, Baker, I apologise for this.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Oh. It's that Rheinlander we saved from the, uh, "Military Inquisition".
=LSF=Champion: You will both be well compensated for your service today.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Uh. I'm fine, thanks. I'm working on "compensating" for my men.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: It really is nice to be assigned to a simple escort job and end up fighting a horde of Rheinlanders.
=LSF=Champion: You did well out there Rokuro.
=LSF=Champion: Baker I have a medical team awaiting you on Houston.
=LSF=Champion: We will escort you their.
=LSF=Champion: Providing your vessel is in working order?
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Maybe you should've considered a capital escort or three?
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Don't you worry. We've got our own. I'll get them there soon enough.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Uhm. As I said, "soon enough".
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: We've got impulse engines, at least. No Thruster's just yet.
=LSF=Champion: Let's make way via impulse to Planet Houston.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Do you mind if I nominate whoever came up with this master plan for 'Dimwit of the Year'?
=LSF=Champion: Granted.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: Thanks.
=LSF=Champion: It seems there is flaw within the Agency Typhoon.
=LSF=Champion: Mister Rokuro is right..
=LSF=Champion: We should have secured the prisoner at full capacity.
=LSF=Champion: Something that is questionable.
LPI-SWAT-R.Mizushima[G]: That flaw being that 'The Agency' sends three fighters to escort a one-of-a-kind prisoner?
=LSF=Champion: We should have been better prepared for this.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: You don't say.
=LSF=Champion: Once again, I offer my apologies.
=LSF=Champion: I will have someone contact you in regards to this matter.
=LSF=Champion: Perhaps there is a way we can compensate you for the unfortunate event that has befallen us today.
LPI-Terminal.Island: Baker: Oh, don't worry. I've seen worse. At least nobody's dead yet.
There are more than enough curious things. Mister Vardogr is now in the safe hands of The Liberty Security Force, aboard Prison Station Mitchell within the Alaska System. He will be interrogated by myself when he regains consciousness.
The Nomad Power Cell we successfully obtained has a total of ten Artifacts linked to it. According to scans there is a plasma link between each Artifact and the cell. Remarkable... I have never witnessed anything like this. I have taken the liberty of keeping said Power Cell within my personal warehouse along with the rest of my conducted research.
All of this commotion caused, yet nothing was taken. Or at least to the untrained eye there wasn't. It is no secret that Jeske Vardogr was influenced by a separate entity, known as the Nomads. Previous scans suggested that an incubus resided within Mister Vardogr. However, upon arrival of Prison Station Mitchell, scans suggested.. Well... Nothing... It seems the incubus had left it's host. Those were no ordinary Rheinlanders we encountered... The Das Wilden. They were there for a reason..
They freely mentioned a secondary objective was failed. Perhaps that was in regards to the Artifact. Although they had left it behind, this likely means they will return for it. I have to be careful.
I have plans to visit Rheinland, Now that the Wraith is fully functional and in working order, I will be able to fly under the veil of Rheinland Engineering, I also have the Hackers at my disposal for the time being. I might as well make use of that, I will have to ask Nicole to give me a device capable of keeping my vessel from transmitting original Liberty Security Force affiliation. I'm sure if I told her that is was necessary to completing the tasks she has set before me, she will be less than hesitant to comply.
It seems I'm digging myself a deeper hole every time I speak to a person. I recently contacted my team of technicians after there successes with the Wraith Class Vessel. You would think giving these people something else to work with would be a good thing... But apparently not. It seems mister Taylor, the technician lead is less than interested in his profession, a funny person at best. I originally wanted to commend him on the work he has done for me thus far. However, the conversation soon changed, riddled with stereotypical humour and sarcasm, the lowest form of wit. Look at me, painting a picture of someone who is so hard done by.
So It seems I'll be focusing on acquiring the Avenger, I doubt I'll have any luck getting the blue prints directly from the Liberty Navy. So Reverse Engineering is the practical approach I would take. I will be solely supporting the technicians by collecting the necessary components, well, funding the shipping companies to do it for me anyway.
Once I have acquired an Avenger from the Liberty Navy, I will have my technicians submit it into our Simulator Programme, which will ultimately give them the vital information they need in order to manufacture a new one. Genius.. They can then simultaneously document the work they do on it, allowing me both access to the blue prints and the Avenger that was manufactured. This will likely mean a lot of testing will be initiated, who knows, maybe we can give it an improvement here and there.
I have contacted Nicole Hunter, explaining my current position, I simply provided her with the hope that she may very well need. Little does she know, the documents I will be giving to her are completely and utterly false. I haven't even seen Eureka Research Station, Never mind set foot on it. The documents are very convincing, their isn't a shred of evidence suggesting that any of it is false. I hope it suffices, I can then focus my attention on the necessary tasks that need completing, whilst gaining the trust of The Lane Hackers, a valuable asset gained.
It seems Jeske Vardogr proved to be a dead end, The last thing he remembers is being sent on assignment from the Rheinland Military almost eighteen months ago. Not only did the Incubus leave it's host, but it wiped most of Jeske Vardogr's memory too. Clever little being. I should have anticipated this...
The Artifact is still in my possession, but right now I daren't go near it. It is an intimidating piece.. I wonder what it is used for, what it's purpose is. I'll focus on that once I have done what I need to in Rheinland.
I need to stay in Liberty for the time being, hopefully the Liberty Navy will be in contact with me soon. If they allow me access to the Avenger Class Vessel, then life will be much simpler for myself and the technicians. The blue prints and the vessel itself can then go in to the safe hands of aerelm who has made great progress in tracking Pennybrooke and is currently on her trail as I record this.
It seems I am edging closer and closer to my demise each day that passes by. Hopefully I will succeed.
After contacting Nicole Hunter in regards to completing one of the tasks she had assigned to me. I took it upon myself to document the high priority tasks at current within Eureka Research Station. These documents are entirely false, but very convincing. Hopefully they will prevail, as Nicole Hunter will be a valuable asset to have. If all else fails, I have the Padua Liberty Rogues to turn to, now it isn't unheard of, that criminal organisation's contact each other frequently. However, business is business and I believe that Lord Moka can honour that. He will soon be able to trust me entirely, which will prove advantageous if Miss Nicole Hunter suspect's even the slightest hint of false provided information.

Professor Diogenes Heinlein is a hard person to persuade, yet I wouldn't expect anything less. I would imagine he will be weighing up every aspect of the situation before agreeing or disagreeing to my request.
Perhaps my last transmission will be a highlight of his career, after all, not many people come in contact with a power cell like the one I have within my possession. Maybe he will jump to the opportunity in a heart beat and develop a total disregard for law in Rheinland because of it. I suppose it depends on how passionate he is about his work.
Nevertheless if all else fails with the professor I will continue my work once aerelm has contacted Pennybrooke, I'm sure she will be more than adequate, she may be able to shed some light on my research too. Well, to be perfectly honest I wouldn't mind working along side both the professor and Pennybrooke, I imagine it will be time efficient that way. Who knows, maybe everything will work out.. Or not.
