Can I get to see what is the reason behind the ID restrictions?Was it because that there many who were abusing the neutrality of the Zoners?I havent come to know anything related to that restriction except for a line in the infocard of the whale that "The blueprint was secretly guarded bythe Zoners and didnt want to reveal them out."
The lore doesnt state so,as far as my knowledge extends.And if it is lore wise that the caps will be removed I can point out to this restriction being not lore wise(if at all I am right about the restriction being due to ID abuse).
I am very much concerned because I own nearly 8 Zoner ships.Out of these 2 being Whales,which I rarely use and 2 Nephilims and a Fearless with some snubs scattered around.
This way we don't have to bastille every zoner cap until every single zoner cap gets SRPed.
Would you rather continue RPing without your battleship turrets or would you rather be in Bastille?
According these new ships, it's not about loosing just a turrets, but absolutely new ships with new purpose. I'm for Bastille, keep the ships as it is. Realize only if SRP applied.
This way we don't have to bastille every zoner cap until every single zoner cap gets SRPed.

Yeah, put the caps to Bastille and read a lot of SRP request would be far more work for the board than simply turn them into transports, but maybe we could reach some consensus in this topic.
If the admins don't want to work more due to lack of time/RL stuff/laziness just say that honestly. It would be straighter than simply push this down in our throat while saying "deal with it, that's life, there is no other solution, lore logic needs it."

You've got it a bit backwards my friend.
It's being changed because of the lore logic. What they're doing about it comes after that.
IIRC Admin forces are already spread a bit thin at the moment, and dealing with that many SRPs will definately take more time from (sorry to say) more significant things.

I love this lore logic argument. In this case, I eagerly anticipate the changes of other factions due to lore logic. Excluding the house militaries, nobody should have bigger ships than gunboats. This mod was never about the logic of lore, but the fun to fly bigger ships and have the RP possibilities with them.

Lore? Did you ever know there's no disco Zoner lore, simple as before us nobody in dev team was interesting in writing it(was lazy)? At this moment it's business of Zoner players, which lately will be reviewed by Echo. Phoenix took task on writing Omicron Zoner lore, now I trying logically explain why Zoners decide to downgrade their grand tech into whales with few guns, and turn themselves into Edgespace Commerce.
There is disco Zoner lore. Not sure what you think is going on, that Zoners just kind of happened in the mod? And to assume the lore wasn't developed due to the devs being lazy is overly critical, if not hateful. If it's something that wasn't of particular interest, there would have been no reason for the lore to have been embellished.
Seriously, I can understand everyone's frustration in the matter, but I highly recommend that before you continue acting the way you all are you take a break from the forums. Have a drink. Make a sandwich. Because right now it's looking very much like rage induced hate and less like the developmental discussion everyone wants. I love this mod just as much as you guys, and I also want to see the best of it. So let me hear your arguments from a development stand point, not a biased standpoint.
Omega472, maybe I expressed myself incorrectly, but in my pov those are two different things. Everybody knows that there is a huge gap lorewise from vanilla Zoners to Disco ones, but for a few years a lot of players put effort on it and established their RP despite this gap. I meant those RP possibilities.
Also, if you only take out words from the context and make cynical quotes you shouldn't post here. It has been said that keep it constructive.
