Given the length of time, I do hope that you have not forgotten me, as I find myself in need of your assistance again, Moka.
I find myself in a position where I cannot safely remain out in the open. I would like to request some manner of asylum...though that seems like the wrong word for the sort of protection one might expect of the Liberty Rogues.
Regardless, I am in need of a safe haven where I can lie low. Please contact me as soon as possible.
I honestly can't believe you're still alive,
let alone even bother to remember me.
I'm touched but on the same token, I'm
concerned about your need for 'asylum'.
Why are you coming to me in need of a
place to hide? The local Junker stations
offer bunks and some kind of temporary
accommodation. But you've thought a
but about this already, huh? Hence you
taking a chance...
Listen, things have changed quite a lot
lately, and Rogue turf has been split.
I've recently taken up securing our home
system, Cassini. During my absense,
Rogue unity was dissolved and splinter
groups have taken up their own interests.
Ours lie solely in the preservation of the
Warlords primary bases and the secrecy
of our largest facility; The Nonsense
Factory. Thus lies an issue, only Rogues
are permitted to enter, and as you're no
Rogue you are going to need to become
one of us. I cannot protect you if you can
not be where we are. So there really isn't
any other options but to become one of
us. On the bright side, we can probably
look into you keeping that ship of yours
so you can keep being the pragmatic
lass I remember.
I'll have an Ace meet with you and offer
you the credentials to make it to my
base, Attica. There I'll meet with you
and have you formally inducted.
Junkers would not be able to provide the level of security that I need, unfortunately. Too many people frequent their stations. It is difficult to filter those that may wish me harm when many Junker stations are effectively unlawful freeports. I am sure you know this.
So, yes, I have thought about this.
Joining the Liberty Rogues proper had not been my initial idea, but I suppose that it is far easier to care for one of your own than a stranger...and far easier to justify it to those other rogues that do not know me so well.
Let me meet with one of your aces, then. I've reached my wits' end with trying to protect myself, and I cannot go on without help. If this is my option, then so be it.
I've got two female Rogues
waiting for you on Thunder
Bay Depot, Ontario. From
there they'll escort you to
where you need to go.
It'll be hard to miss these two
and they know what to look for
unless you've changed that ship
of yours. Be there in the next 48
hours and to get that safe passage.
