I want to propose some changes that have the purpose of making the game more noob friendly and less forum dependent.
One of them is making a video intro that explains the story of the game and how it evolved from vanilla Freelancer. It can play like the original intro and have scenes from famous lore changes like the wars between houses. We have a lot of people who can edit videos around here and i'm sure we can produce a decent product.
Another change i would like to see is effectively moving the wiki into the game by the means of a command like /tips. First thing it should do is give you a detailed message with the lore of an ID when you equip it. After that you should be able to inquire about different aspects of the game, for example /tips k'hara, /tips trading, /tips pirates, /tips armour etc.
And i'm gonna repeat again: We need an automated bounty board in game.
I could do a couple of those, if needed. Just someone will need to actually make it that they play as the intro.

The video is a good idea. However, having everything on the forums means that it is relatively easy for the admins to control and check everything. Plus, an automated bounty board could be subject to abuse and bugs. The best way would be to put a link to the forums in the menu in the game, or when you log into the game, saying that you HAVE to use the forums.
