IFF / reputation

My question is simple: How do I get the IFF/reputation for my characters? I need it exported, but what file do I need? I'm talking about multiplayer characters.

You don't need any files. All you need to do is missions for the faction you want to be friendly with, and when you are fully friendly with it, you will get it's IFF. However, you can also do this by killing standalone NPCs that are enemies of the faction in space. An example would be if you want to gain rep for the LN, you'd go kill LR NPCs.

and with restart templates, basically you get the ID and IFF of your desired faction beforehand.

You can also use bribes by talking to different characters in the station bars and paying them to adjust your reputation.

Thanks for your replies but you all missed the point

I dont want to change my rep, I Just want to use the data.

For what? Well I can think of multiple things, one being a map which shows what bases I can dock with or not. Based on the run_by parameter of a base combined with my reputation for that house... It can be done.


So I really want to be able to export my characters's reputations for all houses.


OR can I use initialworld.ini because that file has reputations between houses for houses ..

I don't know for sure, but I'd advise against digging in game files, anticheat could treat that as hacking and ban you.

I don't make any changes to the game files, I 'read only'. But I guess I'll just have to let this one go.
