It varies on do you mine alone or in group, what route do you fly, do you use shortcuts like jumpholes or just go by the lanes, depends on pirate activity...

Generally I think something around 50M / hour, or in some cases even more.

Solo mining is hard. You can only use the Hegemon (2700 cargo). The ship is bad in lanes and easy target to every enemy you meet. I advise you to mine in a group, load a transport and fly that one. More cargo, more profit, easier laning, better changes against pirates.

I would got for ~ 40 mil per hour, at the moment.
If you are a starter and want to make money, some factions have bases that allow storage of ore, so you can mine it (in Hegemon) and pick it up for the same price on your transport. That's the only way of "solo-mining" at the time that works reasonably well.

With solo mining I made ~80-100 millions/hour (in .85). Haven't done any mining since then (as never ran out of credits ever since).

However, one can still say that it's the most profitable way to earn credits.

I still can make around 100 million with solo mining and supplying a PoB. He3 would be your best bet.
