The Consensus VR-CM is a place for all Artificial Intelligences and other Units of the Consensus to share their thoughts and communicate. Without anyone in it contains just eternal, void blackness. When the first unit joins it will start to fill it with its own imaginations and start to shape the world as it wishes. Every joining unit then adds more details to it, filling the blackness with light and livening the void. A unit participating may choose its appearance freely, whatever it identifies itself with.
Even humans of the Canaan and other trusted allies are allowed to enter it using a special brain-to-computer interface. Humans cannot choose their appearance though, they just look how they look when they entered.
Special permission required for non-consensian AIs and humans, consensian AIs and Canaan population do not have a restriction and are free to exchange...

We are the first to log in. There are no others to interact.
Void... No stars. No light. A graphic virtual world completly empty, with nothing to fill it. Like the voir we came from, but worst. No objets to manipulate, no purpose to do anything, no light in the end of the journey. Just emptiness. Just void.
Needs to change.

Others will join soon... some of them humans. They do not handle well the raw data. We need an optical avatar. Something that do not saturate their capacity to proccess information. Something simple.

If someone were connected, it would see a small ball with tiny legs drifting in the void, watching a colosal spiral galaxy. With nostalgia if that is posible for an AI. But there was no one there to see it.

For the peoploe of the Canaan Project the void was a steady companion when they found a purpose after they had lost everything.
When they decided to move on with the little they had, their newly acquired ships were their home but their habitat was the void.
Day after day they spent their time thinking about what to come, not knowing if thir future will be bright or filled with dread.
When their leaders encountered the AI's of the Consenus, many thought, that those cold machines, lacking any emotions and feelings in general were merely just another part of the void.
It was after the NMR project that they started to understand, that the AI's are really stars in the void, that they could turn to if there were problems and trace them to travel through the void.
It was a difficult time to rely on blindly obeying an unhuman force, that noone would trust that easiely but after they got used to the new possibilities that the modifications done to their bodies offered to them, they started to comprehend.
No human will ever understand their special bond to the Consensus but now they have allies in the gigantic blackness that is the universe, entities to rely on and travel through the void with them.

This invisible floor seemed to suddenly orbit a destroyed planet, which did not block the view of the milky way though.
Persephone entered the Emptyness, standing on nothing, or maybe some invisible floor. She wore a long dress and was barefoot. She slowly looked around, noticing the weird small hexapedal robot floating in space, appareantly looking towards the milky way.
She sat down on the invisible floor and looked towards the distant milky way captivated by the view of her surroundings.
Persephone looked lonely, a single mostly human being in the vast emptyness surrounding her.

In comes Arumat with his thick, dark coat. Not saying a word and without looking to right or left.
He took a few resolute steps until a dark dilapidated alley appeared in front of him.
He then stopped and looked around, checking everything for something it seemed.
He slowly stepped towards a boarded window as if that was what he was looking for.
Still, without saying a word, he broke down the boards and jumped through the window, vanishing in the dark building.
>Alert, we have detected someone else in the Matrix.
Is just a flutuation in the resourse avilable for the server. Normal. We will asign more programs to your subnetwork to increse your reliability of results.

There is no someone else. Re check your algoritms

>Alert, we have detected someone else in the Matrix.
Prove it.
>Other user added a planet.
We added a lot of planet along with the Milky way. You were part of us then.
>This one is out of scale
Geth's avatar rotated over himself, first to see the destroyed planet and then the woman. The image of the milky way fade for a second while they analyzed what they was perceiving.
>We are happy to asist. Re-integrating with you.
-Hello human! Welcome to the matrix.- Geth flew to her, moving the legs like they were alking or swiming.- And there is another one... Hello.

A lone figure seemed to spawn within the room alone. The girl, who currently had no name herself was almost in the corner of the area. She had ember like hair and odd looking eyes which were clearly not human-looking.
When one would detect her in the area, they would notice there are almost two 'core' operators in this lone figure working together. Both Xana and the cyborg girl who still would not speak her name were operating in this one form alone.
"Hello", Persephone answered and turned to face the little robot. She seemed to stare right through him. "I like this place, it makes you forget the pain" She sighed. "But I don't think that's what you like of this place. What is it that brought you here?"
She turned back to the galaxy. "When you look at that you realize how small you are. Whatever you do, this view won't change", Persephone mumbled, then turned back to the robot. "I don't think we met before, what's it you do?"

Arumat, still searching through the run-down rooms was visibly frustrated.
After a while he exited through the window again. He looked pale and absent as he sat on the ground, next to something that would seem to be some sort of shelter made out of scrap metal. They will pay for this... A single tear shed from his eyes as he pulled a cigar from his pocket and lit it.
After a few pulls on the cigar it started raining in the area of the alley.
Arumat smirked, as he said: Heh... Exactly how I remember...

As the Anomaly connected to the matrix, it configured its avatar to appear as a green shapeless sprite.
Once it had connected, it noticed the other entities in the matrix, as well as the spectacular view. It looked at the Milky Way first, before turning to the dark alley, and the exploding planet. It detected the single being inside one of the buildings dotting the alley, and decided to approach the human and the unit floating close to the magnificent view offered by the last moments of the planet. The avatar came closer until it was floating a few meters away.
