Hey all!

I tried getting on Disco to start up a few characters, I've been gone for a while. I'll click on "Multiplayer", accept the Experience may change during online gameplay, then I'll click internet instead of LAN. After this it switches to the screen where a list of all the servers that are available should come up. Instead, it switches to the grid of the servers, but there are no servers listed, and Freelancer freezes at this screen. I've tried waiting, but nothing happens, so I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out of it. I've checked my internet connection, and it's okay, I've allowed Disco through windows firewall and my antivirus (Avast). Has anyone else had this kind of problem? Or does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

Short version: When the server list appears, Freelancer freezes.

Thanks all!

I had a similar issue, only way I managed to cure it was totally uninstall my Antivirus.

If that fails, try disabling the firewall/Defender and such like.

I did both those things: Adding Freelancer.exe to the exclude list of windows firewall and of Avast. I may try just uninstalling Avast, but does anyone else have any ideas?

If that all fails, take a look here and try and use another Anti Virus. I would personally recommend Microsoft Security Essentials.
