Cannot find server by any means.

i have been trying to conect for over an hour now the server is up and i am on teamspeak with pepole who are playing on the RP server i have tryed evrey way to conect i can think of i have tryed

rp deasktop short cut
web launcher
directip join
xfire join game function
unblocking ports
canging freelancer acount
and restarting my whole rig

it as all working fine yesterday but i cant connect today anyone elles got this problem?.

and can anyone sugest what could be wrong.

20 minutes later, I arrived at work and checked the server from here (about 5 miles from my house) and I can see it just fine, so if it is a local problem, then it is extremely local.The last I saw of the server yesterday was what I thought was a server crash, but perhaps it was just me getting kicked by the anti-cheat program. Although, my home computer can't detect the server at all and I don't know if the anti-cheat program does that or just prevents you from logging on.

Were you other two able to log off the server normally the last that you were on it, or did it appear to be a crash that booted you?

Found out the problem, we got banned. Fellow Hoodlum had to ban an IP range and we, unfortunately, got caught. Particularly virulant pest who crashed the server a few times, we have been unbanned now.

*holds hands up* ... I do aplogise, particularly nasty little piece of scum with a dynamic IP. Crashed the server
yesterday as well. Hopefully got rid of him this time.

Well that just shows how little I understand all this techno-monkey-business. My IP at home was banned, but 5 miles away it wasn't (unless the unban happened during that 20 minute trip in between).

But if it nailed a cheater, then I don't mind.

This may present a problem regarding the inactive player wipe though. I wasn't able to access several characters that might be in danger of being wiped. About all I've done in the past week was focus on that elusive cap 8 armor upgrade, so I may be in trouble.
