That's rather weird, because even though increasing codename repair cost was intended as a moneysink, no repair bill even near the price you're mentioning ever popped up during the playtesting, and even a nearly-destroyed codename with barely any health left could still be repaired at a reasonable (high, but still reasonable) price. Either something got accidentally messed up after the test runs or something was overlooked, but either way, a repair bill this expensive was not intended for codenames.
Thank you for reporting this, I'll give it a look and make appropriate adjustments for the next update.
Ughhh,coming back to this again.
I didn't have the credits,or the patience to think what about to do with those codenames,so I decided to sell them on New Heaven.
I sold each for 200k,plus some change.
I guess some got surprised to find a awesome set of 3.03 guns in Conn, and i saw base was selling them for 10 millions each.
Anyway,as soon I ditched those guns,my repair bill shrunk down to somewhere around 1 million SC total.
Leason learned, now I'm gonna sell all of my codenames to avoid further problems.
Once again, thank you all for the input and understanding.
I'll see you all in space, this time with faction guns.
Cheers...
Tried crashing in the planet over and over again, didn't worked.
Damage remained, same as the repair bill...
I got tired of it all,and ditched those wretched guns.
You have to crash into the planet before docking in a base/planet. That way, you would loose just unmounted items, cargo. Most of the times, even ammo would remain intact.
