Greetings Ladies & Gents,
Congress Junkers, Junkers Marauders & Everybody in Sirius,
I post less on the forums but i read much, i play this game to have fun & i am a 10 years freelancer veteran
I didn't play this mod only but i played lots of other RP, Soft RP, NO-RP & PVP hardcore servers.
As far as i noticed from my 10 years of gaming freelancer is that there is ONE junker faction, and any other semi-junker factions are not going along with my freelancer book.
I don't plan or intend to say anything that might annoy somebody - but i would just like to give my 2 cents about this issue once and for all, because im not a fan of typing things more than one time.
What is Junkers? Junkers are double faced characters... From a side he/she is a scrap metal miner & from the other side while the authorities are not looking, he/she is a smuggler.
Also they have 2 sworn enemies, the "Xenos" and the "Hogosha"
Also they have 2 close neutrals, the "rogues" and the "Outcasts"
Most of the other factions are almost neutral including the "Navy" but the navy is heavily involved
Imagine if a junker have another Navy character & then put both of them in the exact same areas that both of
the two characters operates ..... that would allow the player to META-GAME between the 2 characters and use information from here ,,, to there !! which is NOT-ACCEPTABLE and against RP & Gaming spirit..!
I wouldn't say it's Meta-gaming if the 2 sides are friendlies, such as Rogues and Junkers...
but it's strange to see for example 2 chars for same person *Nomad & Order* or *Junker & Police* or *Junker & Navy* or *Rhienland Military & Unioners* etc... etc...
Im typing all this because i want to ask the community a question.
Yesterday i was at Junkers base "Beaumont" and i watched masses of Rogues coming in to attack a Freelancer base belonging to the Junker Marauders, then i saw Loads of Liberty Navy and Freelancers defending the base but didnt see a SINGLE junker marauder fighting ship (Tagged JM) defending or even at the battlefield ........
My Question is, What do you think as a JUNKER when you see that?

So you are biased and cranky that the ganksquad didnt kill the base? cause that's what your post sounds like.
I'd say that the offending congress members who started all this need to be talked to by the congress leader.
because, from this indy junker's point of view, the congress are coming off as being *insert appropriate word here* due to the words and actions of a few congress members.
Oh plis, the whole Scylla squad bashing was the masterplan of some biased minds and <insert some butthurt names here>. Since the base is approved by the Lib Govt, the LNS are there to defend it. Problem?
It is as metagaming as it might sound, as you guys do, when you ganked the base for some revengeful reasons. I am not mentioning the huge pew that followed, but the regular actions of indy ships just shooting the base to activate its shield, some random Scylla coming for a walk and firing a few mortars before vanishing at the sight of some JM logging in. This has been happening over the past 2 days and omaigawd, I have never seen a base creating so much butthurt among the oppositions rear.
Congress doesn't want bases next to stations because it's bad for business. They told the base builders not to build there, but they did anyway.
The Congress only trusts itself and believes their actions are the best for Junkers (I believe this too). An outside group having some form of control on a Junker station is not in the interests of the Congress or Junkers in general.
"B-but the Congress locked down PR! Hypocrisy!" Only because JM members on LSF alts were OORPly attacking Congress bases. JM complains about the lock-down as if it restricts Junker freedoms, but it doesn't stop indies from making their ships, it just means they need to shoot a PM to one of the people with the base keys to let them in to buy their stuff.
The Congress is one of the most passive factions in the game, yet it is constantly targeted. It's withstood every assault on it so far and will continue to do so. Probably because it has a large amount of fathers/older guys who are used to dealing with brats.

Wait a second, Congress bases are shooting any not .:j:. tagged ship within Puerto Rico? Seriously? And they need to talk to some man, who may be online once a month to get access?
*Zayne checks rules* Aha! Found it!
Quote:Faction Right 1. Official player factions are free to restrict or not restrict access to their guard systems and tax, fine, or destroy any non-allied ships which enters the system, however, properly repped independent players of the same ID may enter Guard/Owned systems, and cannot be taxed. Access to systems that surround owned system must not be restricted unless there's a war with another faction. In case of IDs with multiple official factions, this right can only be enforced if it has the support of every official faction of the ID.
