He smiled softly as he looked at her, shaking his head in response to her.
"We've all earned our names. Who knows, perhaps one day, one of us will stand in the door and call your name."
He couldn't help but chuckle at the next few sentences, he leaned on the bar relaxed.
"That is true, you need to have the guts to win and also to drink. You're the one who drank with me, I didn't get you half-drunk."
He ordered her a water and himself Cider before he gazed over at one of the booths, then readjusting his shades.
"Only a select few people have actually seen my eyes. Most of them Wingmen. Follow me and perhaps we'll talk about it more."
As soon as Hawk got his Cider he got up and walked straight through the crowd in the bar to the empty booth in the corner he had eyed, placing his beverage down on the table, he took a seat.
"You don't need to order anything, Tabs on me tonight."
He leaned back in the booth and placed his feet on top of each other.
"The 15th is a good place, and Captain Lee is a good person. I've watched her and flown with her."
He nodded softly as he placed his hands around his glass, taking a sip of it as he looked at her.
"One of the few, to see those very eyes."
He looked at her, she was obviously tipsy and he had no want to have any rumors starting about her, or him, his eyes wandered over her body as he looked at her.
"I think you had enough alcohol for the night though."
As he sat there, he glanced into the room every now and then, watching the crowd, or anyone looking over at the two of them, he shrugged it off as he looked at her. He flashed a small grin and then shook his head from side to side.
"Trust, I don't know yet, though you've sparked my interests Ms.Black, though I do have to agree that the 15th is in excellent hands, I'm sure Captain Lee will take care of her men and women."
He took another sip of his Cider as she had already downed her water whole.
"Stress?"
He raised a brow in a frown.
"Alcohol is a good thing every now and then, in moderation. Though I can see you are a very light drinker."
"Captain Lee knows how to run the squadron. However, There is no king without his people. She also seem to have good wingmen."
She glances around the bar taking a look at the people around her, some of them had weird looks towards her and Hawk. However, she ignored them and looked back at Hawk, surprised after she realized how he called her by her surname.
"Ohh.. I'm flattered... You even know my name."
She chuckles, but soon it got overran by a sigh.
"I am a light drinker. It's in my DNA, can't really help it. However, I try to avoid drinking as much as I can."
"Every Captain is only as good as their crew. It has always been like that, with people like you in the 15th, that crew is well set."
He smirked then as he looked at her, a nod. The people staring at them he didn't mind, it was always funny to see.
"Intelligence is my job, did you forget?"
He smiled at her and took another drink of his Cider as she sighed
"That's always a good attitude. I like to enjoy a drink after a long assignment myself, or when going out with the guys, or just nights like this one."
She laughs at her own comment before giving a smirk to Hawk.
"Nights like this one, eh?"
She leans forward towards the table, with a frozen expression.
"Since you already know my name, I shall appropriately introduce myself.. as there's no point of not doing so..."
She pauses for a few then resumes with a smile, putting her hand towards him for shake.
"Evelyn, Evelyn Black, I don't believe that my rank is necessary at this time and place. Not that I'm ashamed of it, I have a quite high rank. It's just that we're in a place away from the work and its stress."
Hawk smirked at her as she complimented herself some, he pulled out his data pad and tapped around on it for a little as she introduced herself.
"Yes, nights like this one I like to come down and simply relax. Trust me if my wing man were here it wouldn't be as calm."
While she spoke, he'd already pulled up her Dossier on the data pad, out of her sight.
"I am Nighthawk. Perhaps you shall learn my true name when you've earned my full trust. Call me Hawk."
He nodded to her in a greeting almost as he finished speaking.
"Your rank is nothing to be ashamed of. I know more about your career than you might hope to think. Though I agree that work has no place here right now."
Flipping around his wrist, Hawk took a look at the time shortly, before he focused on Evelyn again.
