Exactly, its Science fiction, pretty much ur imaginaiton's the limit, hell right now we have all kinds of crp thats Physically and mentally impossible for a human to do, but all u need is a little genetic work and a dash of radiation and ya got endless possiblities.

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
Well. more fiction than science...
I think that science fiction has certain sceintific base. Which expalins how it works. And is also based on a theory.
But what we have here (most of it) has no scientific base. so this is just fantasy.

I understand Angels implication. Possibly not all science though. But you are right, it
should be fantasy either way. The sky is the limit. Let imaginations run wild. Lets not
bog it down with scientific arguments.

Dab this is not a Roleplay story and no one is powergaming here, though you should
know all about that. Its peoples imaginations. Your game powers are impossible too.
So every one is in the same boat.

Meh, just add a device, which is carried by the one who throws the grenades, that protects it from the time dilation effect.
Presto! Time grenades works now.
