I'm sure this transmission comes as somewhat of a surprise and I am admittedly not much for small talk or being indirect so.
Quite frankly, this constant cat and mouse game in the Taus is not beneficial to either of us. Neither side gains anything, both sides lose. As groups based on profit this is mutually pointless. To these ends we would like to call for a complete non-aggression pact between both IMG| and JM| vessels for the time being until perhaps more permanent relations can be worked out. For our part we are currently ordering all Marauder vessels to cease all harassment of IMG| ships.
Furthermore, as we are the group requesting this changes we are willing to transfer over a sufficient amount of high quality scrap metal to the ALG to be transported to IMG shipyards in order to recoup any recent losses on account of our actions. Actual cost of materials and transfer point can be worked out in private with ALG if this is deemed acceptable. This transmission is being sent to [ALG[ for this purpose.
Good day everyone, I'm Lena Atzenbruck, president of ALG Waste Disposal.
Given our longstanding partnership with the Guild, and our recently greatly improved relations with the Marauders, will be happy to mediate and/or take part in any exchange of materials should both parties agree to it.
I have to admit that this message comes as a slight surprise to me after what happened. Anyway, surprise or not, what you sent is too interesting to pass. That's why we talk before the Guildmasters get involved.
For a start, IMG| Defense units have been told to not hunt Junker Marauder vessels that are not committing or are linked to crimes. If your pilots stay clear, we will keep our distance from you.
However, things always are more complicated, especially after the path that your side chose to take by pushing for unprovoked aggression and almost total hostility.
The IMG will never accept if if anybody does the following:
Cardamine smuggling
Human Trafficking / Slavery
Assisting the Outcast (economically / militarily)
The IMG has always and will always try to intercept such cargo and try to keep goods from reaching Outcast space. These main points cannot be discussed.
Therefore, I think it is best to wait for your answer first before further, less critical issues can be discussed.
The IMG appreciates the attempt to reduce the amount of hostility and violence, we are happy to see that the ALG is willing to assist in the negotiations and I am looking forward to a hopefully positive reply.
