And RFP are official if you check their faction proposal thread, Kane says "faction approved" and they have their own message dump (not sure if it's actually labeled as such, which has caused minor confusion).

[OSC] is Orbital Spa & Cruise. We used to be official, but we couldn't keep our numbers up for any significant amount of time.

I suppose my taking long absences from the game didn't help much, either.

There's talk of reviving the faction, and a few new members, but so far I haven't been inspired enough to go about fully reviving the faction.
