You're right, of course - I left out the smiley you added at the end of that when I quoted it. I'm not sure where the "hater" came from though. The overall tone so far has seemed pretty lighthearted to me.

Anyway, faction questions - which Corsair capital ship did you have in mind for the flagship? Both "Legate" and "Murmillo" (gladiator) seem to evoke patriarchal imagery, further reinforcing of the male hegemony, which seems to be the goal? I guess more guns for more rainbow would favor the "Legate" (which sounds more privileged).

Excellent question.
After long discussion on the people already in the faction there was a debate on what ship to choose and how to go along with actually RPing it. Should it be light-hearted or a more defined RP to create the Cap.

After a long talk we concluded the following:

1. It shall be the Murmillo
2. Not the Legate since it looked manly, it has 2 horns as opposed to 1 (unicorn), and from the description that follows which leads to the third point:

This newly developed warship is a signifier of the Corsair peoples' ingenuity under adverse conditions. The prototype vessel of this class was built from technology borrowed, stolen, and generally just plundered from the wrecks of allied and enemy warships. After promising performance in the field, more of these vessels are being constructed as materials become available.

3. This ship will be SRPed. Why SRP a ship thats already in allowance? Simple.

We want to paint the ship 1/2 pink and 1/2 rainbow color because in lore:
As repairing was done and paining a new coat the women decided to go with pink and then ran out of pink half way and used all the other colors they had to finish the job.

Thus they would have used all the other paints they had of the colors of the rainbow to paint the other side.

Remember in the lore too that they are getting the scraps and remains of what they can get. The description of the ship is perfect for that since we can steal, borrow, plunder, etc. to get parts!

So essentially TL;DR we are SRPing a 1/2 pink 1/2 rainbow Murmillo called the Fluffy.Rainbow.Unicorn.
