In-game they are, in Lore they aren't. And developers develop the game based on the intended storyline, not the unintended imbalance of playerbase distribution and faction representation.

Or would you like them to implement features restricting your gameplay in order to match in-game events with the storyline even further? Would you like to be told which faction to play, which ship to use, regardless if you are a member of an official or unofficial faction, or just being an indie? Would you like to be told when to win and when to lose regardless of your skill? I think not.

So rheinland waltzes in with it's fleet invading texas every day and Liberty just goes like once a year to a system sieging a base, suddenly it's owned by them, wow. Much confuse.

Actually no, last I remember Rheinland provided alot of RP for that... Well that's what they said lol.

They obviously know better than devs. Not saying I wouldn't welcome someone putting a dent into Liberty already, but Rheinland sure won't be that one anywhen in the near future.

But anyway, best example was when liberty invaded one of rheinland's base and suddenly it got Liberty owned, explain me that?

Bretonia was waging war with Kusari while Liberty battled Rheinland (and Gallia was in Gallia), then at a point due to some Wild shenanigans a conflict escalated between Rheinland and Bretonia. It was an unintended one and would have driven the storyline in a direction Admins/Devs didn't want it to go, so as a "punishment" Kusari took LD-14 and Liberty took Westfalen. Both of them got eventually returned to their original owners after a short amount of time, and of course after the Bretonia-Rheinland conflict ceased to be a thing.

That happens when by lore Liberty is winning that war. But again, the takeover of the Westfalen was not a player-driven event, but an Admin/Dev induced one, so was the takeover of LD-14, though I didn't see you mention that, did you?
