This is so bandwagon material. Gallia is fine, it's the implementation that sucks. It has way too many redundant systems filled with way too many things. As soon as it's reduced it will be just fine.
This discussion suddenly changed from the main subject, OC and Sairs to Gallia when it has nothing to do with it, and i still don't get why so many of you hate it so bad.
Back to the main subject: Yes i agree that the old route was the best for OC-Sair confrontation. There are 2 ways to fix that. 1, like most of you said, re-add the old route and get rid of Lambda which is a dead end system and pretty much useless. Or 2, my own idea, put both Planet Crete and Malta and other bases in the same system at about 60/80 or even 100 K from each other, grab some popcorn and observe how they destroy each other.

There was a time when Gallia had 4 or 5 systems and activity was still low there. It's a dead horse and we're beating it with sticks.
It should have stayed as such and just have Ile de France added as main system. Activity wasn't low at all either, you only didn't notice it because you were stuck in the Taus as CR.
