My name is Hikari Ohara, pilot of The Network. I was forwarded to you by our spokesperson Gwen Johnson, who already happened to talk to you regarding some business in Inverness in the past, which I personally wasn't a part of.
For now I'd just like to know if you have the capabilities to acquire a cloaking device fit for operations on a Kestrel class freighter. Assumingly a so-called Cloaking Device Mk2.
The origin of said device would be immaterial to me as long as it is fully operational. Further details on that matter will follow depending on your answer.
I also was told to inform you that we are still open for inquiries regarding the import of human organs or other commodities to The Junkyard as well as export - as long as they match up with our... ehr... "diplomatic" views.
The previous successful ventures undertaken on our behalf by your organization have been greatly appreciated. Such a device is not currently available, but can be readily constructed. We will pass down a priority order and have one for ye quite shortly, if that is agreeable.
In the meantime.. we do not have any specific needs requiring an immediate contract, however our primary storage sections have been recently expanded. Likewise, our capacity for out-of-sight commodities has increased, so the 'blackmarket' vendors have been instructed to accept up to [at least] 40.000 units of a variety of contraband and illicit materials at any/all times. Please feel free to utilize this point of sale for your own uses -- buying or selling -- and pass along that information to your companions as well.
We will reply shortly with your prepared device.
Regards,
-Aces

so I take it that the congress can produce said device itself? That's interesting and good. Waiting for its completion is not a problem. However, before that I'd like to know its price and I'd have an additional proposal.
Since we lack the qualified personnel to maintain technology of this magnitude, I'd like to purchase the right to have Junkers with enough expertise on The Junkyard (and possibly other Junker installations) to look after it on a regular basis
Another possibility which comes to mind: In exchange for free maintenance and check-ups, I'd offer a 10% discount on any contracts involving said vessel in the future, such as transports of low amounts of possibly highly valuable cargo, which you'd rather not have traced back to the congress.
A way to maintain this cloaking device is mandatory for me to have a business transaction.
Your call. Maybe you have something else on your mind?
For a member of the Network we will offer said unit to you for 300.000.000sc. In exchange for maintenance done by our deckhands, we will ask that you bring in Reinforced Alloys or other useful supply commodities on any checkups ye stop in for.
We will be in contact with you and the organization you represent for any illicit needs we may have in the future.
Cordially,
Aces

The device was installed succesfully. I'll need some test flights to ensure that it operates sufficient, but for now you have my gratitude.
Your proposal is acceptable as well.
