Base sieges, mmm....
RM and GRN apparently can't help KNF with a siege.
Which begs some questions.
[19:09] Karst: The simple fact of the matter is, KNF does not have sufficient battleships to siege a base without help.
Neither inrp, nor oorp.
If they didn't bring in allies, they would literally be incapable of removing bases in their own house.
[19:41] Илья. (Ilya P): it's absolutely inRP that a house lacking capital fleet asks allied house for help. Not sure what admin team was thinking
Edit: Oh yeah and let's not talk about the platforms which now apparently fire about 50-100 battleship cerbs per second.
Behalf of Kishiro - Its stupid to see all these caps - Don't bring them - even if you can't take that base down - foreign caps should not enter Kusari in any form or way - unless were talking about war. And assisting in a base siege is WTF.

Well, that *was* the admin team decision in 2012 when BAF-LN-RHA were pewpewing the Corsair base in Cambridge. *EVERYONE* involved or even in the same system got sanctioned - guns removed, armor removed, and warped to deep Omicrons in Nomad space.
At the time the decision was that ID ZOI > RP Treaty.
Just as I mentioned in a skype chat though. Even the US Supreme court reverses itself at times, though after such a severe punishment previously for similar actions I'd be doubtful.
I heard that you couldn't lay siege outside of your ZOI.
( that brings problem for factions which allies are not in the same ZOI )

If you aid us, and you aid them, you are the enemy.
If you do not aid them, you are worthless outside of extortion potential.
If you aid us, you will be treated with respect.
There could be an exception made that allied military could enter an allied house for the purpose of base siegeing, just as long as a player from the official faction of that house's military was present.
I think that would keep the lolwuts from using their LNS ships to siege a Hogosha base in Kyushu, but also allow for some fun and unique RP situations.

In 2012, the server still occasionally hit the player limit. Now we barely scraped past 80 at the height of the siege.
It's not the same server anymore. There's no chance in hell KNF alone can get 8 BS's to shoot a base for 109 minutes, while also not dying to million-cerb platforms.
