Consejo del Vigo is an alliance between three dominant familias coming from a relatively large city of Vigo: Narvaez, Nunes and Borozan. Despite controlling the whole city and it's close surroundings, including Puerto Espacial de Vigo, a large spaceport, and an actuall research institute, a true oddity within the Corsair Empire, the Consejo was a rather small and insignificant organisation.

This, however, changed after the weakening of the Benitez familia and the Council of Elders. Seeing the chance, Consejo was quick to expand it's influence on numerous smaller towns and cities previously controlled by small gangs and other unaffilated familias, thus acquiring more resources, ships and people. This in turn allowed the Consejo, and especially the Borozan and Nunes familias, to expand it's smuggling and piracy capabilities.

The methods of the Consejo are not exactly clear to everyone. Even though most of them at first they appear to be just your average piles of muscles, especially the Borozan familia, that like to smuggle, blow up, shoot and stab stuff, their seemingly meaningless actions always proved to have some very beneficial outcomes. No one knows who or what exactly plans or steers their actions, but it is rumored that the ones responsible for that are the Narvaez, probably one of the very few Corsair familias that is capable of logical thinking.

Naming

[CdV]Name.Surname for snubs
[CdV]BTC-Shipname for transports
[CdV]BCC-Shipname for capital ships

Shipnames are taken from the smaller towns and cities around city of Vigo in Spain.

Ranks

Each familia has a separate ranking system set by it's elder.

Consejo del Vigo is ruled by a council composed of three elders, one from each familia.

Ships and gear

Consejo del Vigo mostly uses the native corsair technology, with Borozan familia having heavier fighting force and Nunes familia having a bigger smuggling fleet.

On the other hand, the Narvaez familia, as the official representatives of the Consejo, are often seen using ships and technology produced by their allies, such as Gaians or Hogosha.

Even though Consejo has a consirderable amount of resources at their disposal, they are not able to roll out a sizeable fleet of warships. Therefore, they rely on fighters and bombers to eliminate their foes and "acquire" various goods around Sirius.

Tell me, are there any regions of interest for the Vigo? Are they more of the kind that wanders the Omegas, the ones that raid in the Sigmas, or the kind that delves deeper into the Omicrons?

Please don't tell me that you prefer to do housekeeping and stick around Planet Crete all your active hours. Those are th kind of Corsairs that are no fun. For that, indies are enough.
