right, been having this issue in isolated instances for the past month-ish, but one decided to pay a visit today out of the blue, comically slapping the ceiling and then making an exit by means of the ceiling fan. he buzzed up that little crack-thing between the fan and the attic.
what should i make of this situation?

i killed about 4 in the past month, the frequency of wasp visits began to lower (none in two weeks or when we got back from vacation friday so we thought they piggybacked into the house) until now. never had this issue before, at least i think i didn't.
anyways, i just noticed there is a very tiny nest on the outside of our house, right by the bathroom where it leads into the guest room that the bugger flew into.
i presume that's where these guys are basing from? ive got some long-range anti-wasp nest spray, so i'll see if i can take it out tomorrow when it isnt like 10:00

Don't be so rude. I'm 24 and I have problems with wasps and hornets myself sometimes - not that I am probably alergic, duh. On the other hand, I almost heart attack when huge hornet flew into my house. Never. Ever. I won't forget this sound.
However, I find it interesting that he has wasps in the house during winter. Moreover, during winter time, wasps would be in seasonal coma...

Call firefighters. In fact it's their job (like in Poland, because we don't have much anti-insect companies) to terminate insects, if you are to worried about doing it yourself. They always remove wasp/hornet nests outdoors over here, so...
Had a problem with wasps in my house a while back.
Ended up finding a wasp nest inside my house, on the inside of the front window, hidden by drapes.
You might have a splinter cell group of wasps, who have infiltrated your house and built a base. I advise sonar goggles to help locate them, a can of wasp spray as your primary weapon against them, and a shoe/flyswatter just incase something goes wrong.
Best weapon against wasps and hornets is BADMINTON RACKET!!
I had a lot of fun demoralizing hornets around my house over the years. Sooner or later, swarm will perish if you will kill a few every day. But beware! Its good to have fast reflexes if whole nest come out to attack you!
PS: Dont laugh, i was outdoorsy kid, we had no PC!
