My original thought, though, was something where the command deck was attached to a broader platform, somewhat like the freighter/transport but sleeker. I know that is vague as all heck, but I don't really have more of a vision to describe. I just thought the command module Looked like the front end of a warship.

The transport looks neat if a bit high-poly. I'm not sure what the budget for that sort of ship is exactly. To me it looks like a BWT replacement.
The fighter I suspect is too large, judging from cockpit size. It's more of a (heavy) bomber from the looks of it.
Oh, and I feel that the polys/vertices/whatever are a bit wasted on the fighter. Some parts of it look rather 'square', while some parts are extremely smoothed and probably encompass the majority of the polygons in the model.
the first model, dont really like because the front looks pretty lazy imo, went a bit mad with the extrude poly tool. and the general shape is the same throughout, which is dull.
the second model is just a Y-wing so.. wont comment further on that.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
First of I'm not going to do any more on the BTL, although I agree, it does need some work on the central body, personally I didn't want to put too much work in it cause yeah. I think some adjustments on the central body plus a diff texture would fix any issues. For it to look very good I would have to go into some detail, giving it a touch of realism, but at this point i don't see the need. Maybe when inspiration strikes I'll give it a go.
Regarding the transport I got rid of the rods and reworked the front. I think it looks pretty decent as it is, maybe it could use other textures but meah, i'll keep it that way. I was going for slim and sexy as John suggested.
Also added another transport, now yeah it does have a high poly count i guess but, i don't really know what the limit is. Also it looks cool with all the plating.
Updated links and waiting for your opinions, I appreciate every one of them.
Edit: Regarding textures, hmm I have about 7GB worth of them, but none that fit and can be used for ships. If anyone knows where I could get some ( searching google provided some but , meah ) I would appreciate it. Looks lazy but I haven't got much time for making my own.

Initially i designed only the front, as a freighter, but also continued on that same model extending it to make it a transport so its basically two ships. The front plus the engine can be used a freighter and put in an extra 2 cargos and it becomes a transport. Its a practical method. The only issue is the engine. Doesn't make much sense moving the engine every time you attach new cargo bays. so yeah I'm still working on it. Maybe leave it as a transport and extend the lower beam to fit the front as you suggested, or maybe make it a freighter. Don't know yet.
Added textures for the predator and bullet. i uploaded the bullet on sketchfab, cause everytime i uploaded on p3d.in, there were hole in the windows. weird.
Edit: Bulk has been textured also. Used rheinland ones, looks pretty decent.
