Well, Kusari cannot really got at war, since it's the only house that Liberty (and Bretonia) trades with. There's still Rheinland, but sooner or later Bretonia will be forced to cut all treaties with Rheinland. Exiles should start regaining their power, as KNF fleet is still (lorewise) crippled.
A Civil war between Imperials, Shogunate and Republicans is in my opinion not only the most interesting, but the most logical thing to happen in Kusari, for various reasons.
Plus a civil war would be kinda something new. I mean of course, we have the hessians in Rheinland, something like this, possibly inspired by the Boshin War, would certainly draw activity.
Regarding Liberty, what if we exploded or pushed lethal sunblast throught entire NY system, leaving just handful of bases that are not affected by explosion?
In short:
Destroyed: Sun, Manhattan, West Point, Norfolk, Baltimore, Bush, Missouri.
Damaged: Pittsburg, Texas Gate, Colorado Gate.
Barely affected: Maine, Rochester, Alaska Gate, California Gate, Buffalo, Detroit, Pennsylvania Gate.
Effects: Center of the Sirius became heavily radiated (except for some areas) barren land, which forces to move Liberty Government into other system. TL are no more, so trade falls down, unless Ageira would build new Trade Lanes. Whole system falls in chaos, and Liberty Rogues are more and more powerful without much lawful presence and once-rich center of the Sirius becomes fight for the scraps.
Additional: Secret Jumpgate in certain Libertonian/Indie system is finished.

The Exiles will be backed covertly by the LSF in an attempt to topple the current Pro-Gallic government in Kusari. The Blood Dragons/GC will try to take advantage of the chaos to advance their own agendas.
Meanwhile, the war rages on in Bretonia. Will Gallia divert some of its forces to Kusari to restore order, or push onward to New London?

*ahem*
Honestly, I'd really like to see Gallia's massive plot armor go away. The excuse of having 50,000 fleets to justify basically being able to do whatever the hell they want is a cop-out at best, and is getting quite tiring to hear at this point. Liberty has this problem as well, to a much lesser extent.
Gallia needs to be brought to everyone else's level Liberty needs to lose sometimes Rheinland needs a new source of income to suddenly turn their ***** economy (and by extension, penny-less military) around Bretonia needs to build more ships, chalk up a few wins in the war and shakily stand on its own again Kusari needs activity
The Maltese nation needs to expand more
The Cretian nation needs to be toned down a bit
the Nomads should totally gain resurgence and start killing everyone again (new Nomad front in the Omegas anyone?)
Oh I like this thread! Beware! Incoming wall-of-text
Short term events (as in 1 major patch away) Gallia
GRN finally pushes to New London and conquers it bit the losses are high so they have to stop once again. Meanwhile the Council launches a major attack from Marne, targeting Burgundy, the seat of the Gallic Royal power in the Gallic Borderworlds. Avalon station is overrun and the Council starts sending its invasion force on Planet Nevers. The planetside battle (Leeds style) is fierce but the Council fails to use the element of surprise to their advantage.
Battlefields: Burgundy (Council vs GRN), New London (BAF vs GRN), Leeds (BAF+allies vs GRN)
Outcasts
The Outcasts decide to extend their domination in the Taus and they launch a major strike against the IMG bases in Tau-37 and Tau-23. Falkland is almost destroyed and looses its ability to receive capital ships and transports in its mooring ports. Java suffers some damage but holds and continues to operate at normal capacity. The gallic weapon platforms are destroyed during the attack.
Battlefields: Tau-37 (IMG vs Outcasts), Tau-23 (IMG+allies vs Outcasts)
Kusari
The Exiles are starting to make their presence known in Kusari by launching daring strikes against the disloyal KNF. Even if they're financially backed by Samura and a number of politicians offer their influence as support, KNF seems to be strong enough to deal with them. The Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums are opposing both, the KNF and the Exiles, making Kusari the arena of a threesome way conflict. Once a trusty ally of the monarchy, the Hogosha is now split between supporting the Exiles or the KNF. The Farmers Alliance however remained loyal and are supporting the Exiles.
Battlefields: Kyushu (Exiles+allies vs KNF+allies vs BD+allies), Tau-29 (Exiles vs KNF), New Tokyo (Exiles+allies vs KNF+allies vs BD+allies)
Nomads
They're... still there, cybering with their tentacles.
Order
They're busy running from angry zoners. However, they might think about calling back their first love, the Corsairs.
Battlefields: Order+Corsairs=Love vs Sirius √
CoreBHG Core
Those annoying hunters decided to take their big experimental guns for a spin in Corsair territory. More skirmishes there. Also, they still want those blue tentacles to be used as their whip. But they must take care of the Order first. Shouldn't be hard now that they got those millions of Zoner marines on their side.
Battlefields: Omicron Zeta (Core+Zoners vs Order vs Nomads), Omicron Theta (Core+Zoners vs Order+Corsairs vs Nomads), Omega-41 (Core vs Corsairs)
Rheinland
Zhe Germanz are looking for an ally in the long run and see Gallia as their best bet. However, the distance doesn't help them too much. Taking advantage of the recent Core incursions into Corsair space, they decide to get closer by invading Omega-3 and pushing towards Cambridge. However, they underestimated the Corsair that attacked their open flanks. The battle of Omega-3 has begun! RM vs Corsairs vs BAF. When everything seemed set for a battle with 3 participants, a wild hessian appears. The RH take their opportunity to push into Rheinland and remove all hostile elements in Dresden (Bautzen conquered and BS Altenburg damaged and relocated to New Berlin). They even attempt a push towards Stuttgart.
Battlefields: Omega-3 (RM vs BAF vs Corsairs), Stuttgart (RM vs RH), Omega-7 (RM vs RH vs Corsairs), Dresden (RM+allies vs RH)
Corsairs
Dealing well with the Core attacks, and taking advantage of RMs moves, the Corsairs make a major mistake, ordering more than they can chew. They attack the Coalition in Omega-52 and are met with a fierce opposition, loosing almost the entire strike force and having to retreat. The Coalition counterattacks, beating the Corsairs in Omega-5 and even getting involved in the major furrball in Omega-3. Corsairs are now spread across three battlefields.
Battlefields: Omega-3 (RM vs BAF vs Corsairs vs Coalition), Omega-5 (Coalition vs Corsairs vs RH), Omega-41 (Corsairs vs Core)
Bretonia
Bretonians finally lost the battle for Leeds and are retreating from New London. However, they still maintain a strong enough force in Newcastle and Manchester (along with their allies). Rheinland assaulting Omega-3 made BAF divert a number of their Cambridge forces to that new conflict area. Taking this new opportunity, the Mollys attacked BAF forces in Dublin, managing to make them retreat and controlling most of the system. BMM and IMG bases were not attacked yet but it's likely that they're next, now that they lost the protection of BAF.
Battlefields: New London (BAF+allies vs GRN), Dublin (Molly+allies vs BAF), Manchester&Leeds (GRN+allies vs BAF+allies), Omega-3 (BAF vs RM vs Corsairs vs Coalition)
Liberty
The cherry on top. Trying to lower GRNs pressure on Bretonia, Liberty launches an attack against Kusari. The initial strike is devastating, and KNF looses control of Shikoku in the first week. However, Liberty stops the blitzkrieg when RM attacks Omega-3. Liberty Navy decides to hold their ground in Shikoku and sends a number of ships to attack Rheinland. They attack via Bremen and Hamburg. Seeing an opportunity, the Hellfire legion launches a huge scale attack on California. They manage to conquer San Diego Border Station and move towards Willard research station and California Minor. LN tries to prevent them from reaching their research base.
Battlefields: Shikoku (LN vs KNF), Bremen (LN vs RM), Manchester&Leeds (LN+allies vs GRN+allies), California&Magellan (LN+allies vs HF+allies)
Colonial Republic
Directly affected by the major Outcast attack in the Taus, the colonials decide to launch a large scale operation against Cali. However, their plans are pushed back by a border incident with a KNF patrol. The flames of war reignite and the Colonials seem themselves dragged in the Kusari Civil War, siding with the Exiles.
Battlefields: Tau-29 (CR+allies vs KNF), Tau-23 (CR+allies vs GRN+allies vs OC), Kyushu (CR+allies vs KNF+allies), Magellan (CR+allies vs HF), Manchester&Leeds (CR+allies vs GRN+allies)
Quite interesting, Mao. Some very good ideas. I do like that the house politics now start to influence one another, although the idea of Liberty occupying all of Shikoku seems... A difficult task to uphold. Here it would be possible to put in one of Libertys defeats (which it definetely needs)
