Baker. Sanders. Teerin too? I distinctly recall the broadcasts of your processors, you know. How bold they were, how brave, how certain of their impending victory.

It took me to the tender age of one hundred and seventy eight years but one thing I finally got tired of doing was fighting. I have been in more battles, killed more men and watched more good friends die in my life time then all of you will ever see put together. It has also cost me two wives, both of whom were murdered. The past couple of years of finding a quiet life running this freeport has been soothing. In short, whatever the squabbles are between you all are your squabbles, not mine.
This base was built by free men who had enough of the squabbling of governments and double talk and empty promises from them. Now we sit on the border of a war as I was told some time ago, a border established by an agreement between The Gallic Royals and Kusari. We are not taking sides nor will we be pushed which is why I keep my docking ability limited to my cruiser and passing transports. My long standing rule of no military ships shall stand.

All that said, keep your issues to yourselves and leave us out of it. We shall see if some old Corsair advice of standing down is better than preparing for war.
