Future of the Council, and Kusari

Here's my opinion on this matter:

Kusarians are a unified people, a civil war among themselves is pretty unlikely. The side which would initiate a military confrontation would be condemned by the people.
I think the coup that took place was a wrong turn as a whole lorewise but oh well it happened. I made my KNF characters in favor for the return of the emperor and will attempt to see to that it happens without a civil war but through dialogue and the will of the people. Not all conflicts ingame has to be resolved on the battlefield such as the surrender to Gallia and creation of the republic.

Ideas below, pick your fav and discuss viability.

Blood dragon cease of power scenario:

The balance of power seem fragile in Kusari right now, the Blood Dragon could make a move to reinstate the original emperor since people still remember that time and now could be the perfect opportunity for that. Ingame event: Blood dragon fleet penetrates KNF defences and reaches Tokyo and ceases power in a surgical strike.

Non military return of emperor scenario:

The emperor returns by the will of the people when he appears in his flagship/imperial yacht or something in Tokyo. KNF forces stands down and recognizes emperors authority and joins him. Which what my char would do.

Emperors return through military conflict:

Emperor demands his power back, some KNF defects, some resists to defend their "democracy" and further improve Gallic relations. Gallia could consider aiding the republic puppet regime as it would be in their best interest. Also keep in mind that Gallia got major aggro from Brets and Libs, would not be wise to associate with em or assist them in any matter except harmless trade agreements.

All this would be done in game RP-wise by players through an event/series of events, the outcome of that scenario/events would determine the future of Kusari.

Might want to hold in check the unified people theory. Kusari's history is one of coups and has gone from a Shogunate to Imperial to Republic and they sure aren't done bickering yet. Now just because the RP lore of them wants to have gaijin not notice this and view them as unified as a bluff doesn't mean this bluff carries over to OOC discussions and decisions. There are some very serious ideological splits within Kusari not just the old ones that Kusari wants to bury and not hear mentioned again (Hideyoshi Blood Dragons) but new ones as well with this whole new coup that has happened with the formation of a Republic.

I'd agree with Prowler here, Kusari is far from united. Look at the amount of schism between kishiro and Samura, the Farmers Alliance and the Government... all that. Kusari looks unified from the outside - it just isn't if you look in detail.
