Outcasts and gunboats

Seeming as though, as far as I know, Outcasts do not have their own gunboat, who's gunboat would make the most sense for them to pilot?

I'm mostly wondering if they can simply fly any of their allies's guboats or if only the Rogues would be acceptable or the Blood Dragons.

Blood Dragon leads to flame-war. It really shouldn't be done if only for that reason. Either use the Lane Hacker one, the Rogue one, or wait until Eppy finishing the crazy awesome one. Check development stuff, its hot stuff.

The rogue gunboat is allowed for now I'm not sure about the Blood Dragon one (probably not although I am curious about the Kusari Explorer)

Outcasts are getting their own gunboat next version though I believe.

//edit: Forgot about the lane hacker one although I'd advise against that one as it's useless.

Lane Hacker one isn't useless, it just isn't broken. The thing is agile, and while not sporting too many gun mounts you can always get at least 4 on them to target anything. Hull strength and gun mounts aren't everything, you know.

Then again, I'm no expert on Gunboats. The largest thing I have is a Thor, but I do what I can to stick to VHFs.

Just speaking from my experience in it It can die to 1 supernova and doesnt feel very manouverable at all against another gunboat it just doesnt have the armour to match up either.

Useless is a bit harsh it's good against fighters I just think it was nerfed way to heavy.

Still a good looking ship and with a good pilot maybe ok.

I don't know how useless or useful the Lane Hacker gb is, but I do know the LH player faction strongly discourages non-LH from using it. If you decide you want to pilot it, be sure to make a request to the faction's leadership or you may be put on a kos list...

The Outcast's biggest and closest ally is the Rogues, and they share their Outcast Destroyers with those Rogues, so it makes sense to use Rogue Gunboats. Thats what all the Outcasts I've seen are flying when using GBs.
