I wondering if many Discovery Rp Players are roleplaying in new york?

If not enough Roleplay why not?

I think the new Players need to know this is still a Roleplaying Server.

I avoid it...

sadly it is too much of a chaos house right now (even with the LSF/SA's best efforts) and any RP I do gets lost.

I used to have a char that sat in NY and admonished people for going ooRP but:

A) I have no time for that now
B) Anything I said got lost
C) People need to get out of NY and I wasn't helping that.

Us lawfuls usually RP within group chat. It works pretty well.

As for everyone else.. the biggest problem would be the usage of smileys and leetspeek. Seeing as how we have no power to stop this except for a reminder that this is an RP server, it's not a problem being solved at the moment.

Most people, sadly, don't read the rules/check the forums before playing. It's not a huge disappointment; I never did until about 2-3 hours into playing on Discovery.

All official factions in NY tries to RP as much as they can,,,,,, But the *hic* is that newbies sometimes don't know that we are RP-ing

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Ny i system with lot less RP than other sys in Sirius, i can understand it because it is full of newcomers but its a good system for them to start working on their RP. only problem is that there are not much experienced players who can help them with that.


And plz newbies take a good work on your RP before you come to Omicron Gamma, i know it is the best system ever but it also needs good RP to be there :P(joke)

I don't go there all that often, but whenever I'm there I try my best to RP and get the newbies RPing properly.

I rarely go to new york, and every time I have to mentally prepare myself.

It has both the best and worst RP in Sirius, I both love and hate it all in one. I always have a try at RPing there, but since I am usualy in my trader and at that point I rarely have contraband there is little I can do...
