After a moment he took a large breath of air and exhaled slowly, "inspector indeed..." he said rubbing his jaw remembering the battering he had gotten from sergeant Sykes over the incident

"Little girl? Oh well, I guess she was talented? I am kinda happy being in Police, you know. Blodshed and such in Leeds and imagination of being captured by Garli... I mean Gallic Royals is something I really don't like. I heard they are really brutal, bot Armed and Gallic forces, shooting escape pods..."
Skye says quietly, taking another sip of tea. Justin seems to be experienced officer, well ex-officer.
Justin finished off the last dregs of his coffee and put the dup down. "well even back then the force was desperate for people, I got promoted to sergeant after only a year, due to the death of my superior and a lack of people to take their place. I really looked up to my sergeant, he was cold, calculating, knew what you were thinking even before you did" Justin told Skye, still sounding a little miffed but trying to relax.
"But it was not really something I wanted, you get more pay, better accomodations, but Id much rather have the sergeant back" Justin said quietly.

"I really don't need to get promoted. People who are after ranks are kinda weird and they don't care about job either. I don't care about rank, I just want to keep Bretonia in safe. I believe people who are after ranks are trying to overpower their decisions, like instead of One milion fine they put Three milion... I for example believe people who got caught will read laws and try to understand more, so I am not demanding huge fines... I've demanded just 500,000 credits from Baffin Zoner, who carried Wildlife without a license."
Skye smiles weakly, not sure if he shares same opinion.
"honestly you need to think of the fine as something that is going to help bretonia fight against the gauls, its not something that we do just to be malicious..." Justin explained intensely. "if the morons out there arent going to read our laws, then they deserve to get hit by the book and taken to the full extent of our operational authority" he said coldly.
"Most of the bastards dont even care that there is a war going on, they just heard theres some nice stuff in bretonia i'll just come and take it and pay my dues, in all honestly we should be focusing more on the ground based aspects of the whole smuggling thing, but our marines are absolutely stretched thin. how do they keep getting hold of the animals you catch them with, who is supplying these swines with illegal goods" Justin spoke trying to calm down his rant before finally finishing with a sigh.
"so how are your superiors? competent?" he asked curiously

"Ahhhh yes, superiors are quite fine and kind to me. They even allowed me to use Challenger, but I am not sure if I am ready for this heavy thing. Maybe it would be more to use against smugglers, but not against fighters. It's kinda weird, if you fly Hussar, you are going to meet trains, transports and Gunboats. But if you are in Challenger, then you will meet a lot of fighters. My bad luck I guess, hm?"
Skye sighs silently, she is still trying to figure out what's happend to Justin and why did he leave Police.
"You always like to argue, Skye... What about being a bit nicer and agree with him? Do you think he will talk to you later if you are still arguing and opposing his statements?"
Justin laughed, "well, thats just how it is I suppose, you want there to be a transport, so you get a fighter instead... some things never change.. I myself used to fly a Paladin, now thats a good ship. though i heard it got replaced by a more mainstream factory build, rather than the outsourced old design." Just said thinking back to his days in the cockpit, "that ship could keep up with even the feared Chimera fighters in leeds back in the day" he explained merrily, remembering shooting down many Kusarians with it.
"Though it did have power issues, its main powerplant wasnt that much bigger than a Hussars, but with 2 extra guns the plant was drained really quickly, you had to really feather the useage of your guns." Justin continued, using his hands as he spoke.

Christy's Fine Tea and Delicious Pastries ~ 02/25/822 Skye keeps smiling and drinking her tea, sometimes looking out of the window, watching thunders and rain.
"Uhhh, I guess you mean Templar?? I've never tried it, nor I wish to..."
Skye giggles silently and leans forward , putting her head on her hands,listening him patiently.
"no no, not the templar, the templar is a good ship though, but it seemed that only the SRD boys had access to those, under instructions from the Armed forces" He explained, "im talking about the paladin, you know, its kind of small, but not as small as the hussar" just said sitting back in his seat a little.
He stood up and checked his pockets and then found his card. picking up his cup and looked at Skyes empty almost empty cup. "im getting another, do you want one? just be careful when you start drinking this time." he said with a frown but then lightened up and smiled a little.

"Ahhh, stupid me. Well I've seen it a lot last few days and it seems to be a good one."
Skye smiles kindly, now looking up into his eyes.
"Ahaaa, here's my card, Sir."
She says and slowly takes out the card, handing it over.
"Skyeeee!! Why are you in need of another cup of tea out of sudden?!"
