Evening Sir.
I'm just forwarding you a memo to detail some of my recent observations regarding employee actions in the field. Primarily, I wish to convey my sincere praise for employee George Grenville. Over the last week, Mr Grenville has gone above and beyond, participating in extremely dangerous convoy actions around Leeds, and taking an extremely proactive role in the fulfillment of our contracts and obligations within and around Bretonia.
In particular, the recently completed FortiSec contract greatly benefited from Mr Grenville's dedication and attention. It is my opinion that he has shown an aptitude and flair for contract management and delivery that underlines his value to the company. It would be my strong recommendation that he be promoted to senior employee and earmarked for fast-track training to supervisor status, along with a formal commendation on his personnel file.

Andrew, please don't call me sir. I'm still used to working under you. My name is Max and I'd prefer you use it.
Now. Grenville.. Grenville... Ah yes! George was a promising candidate, I remember. Keep an eye on him, make sure his permissions are updated to those of a Senior Employee. I'll pop in from time to time, but show him the ropes. I'd like him on a Supervisor course by the end of the month.
Yours in Service to the Realm,
Maxamillion Wolf

Right my lovelies, as you might be well aware our ExSec division has been missing a manager for quite a while. Well I have been brought out of the conflict on Leeds just to fix that. Like the somewhat punchable DoO just said, I am Jonathan McCarthy, your absolutely wonderful new Director of ExSec.
How do I know I am the best, you ask? Firstly, have you seen me? I look like the epitome of professionalism and security expertise. Secondly and probably more importantly, me and the lass have been through many stations in our career and experienced nearly every sort of weaponry in the entire sector. Even those jellyfish ones! The lass has now been forwarded to Manager Aaron Clarke and I fully expect that if he doesn't want to lose every limb he owns, he will take care of it as if the lass were his eyeballs. Never mind the thought of how having a Challenger bomber as your eyeballs would impair your quality of life.
Why have I moved towards a Director's position from the wonderful action of the Queen's Privateers? Right well it's a bit complicated but rest assured it involved Sir Frasier getting rather pissed off a few barrels of booze and yours truly taking a good brunt of an antimatter cannon to the chest. Besides, flying security tends to get a decent bit complicated these days and I have been brought on as a partially rehabilitated privateer to teach you lot how to handle all this pressure, as well as the ins and outs of pirate thinking.
Right, I hope we get on well chaps. For everyone's sake.

BES Aaron Clarke MacGregor

Convoy Information:
Anxiously, and still fiddling with the setting of my new Templar, we set off from Planet New London full to the brim with sweet Dublin gin. The trip through the Omega's to New Berlin was calm and uneventful. Come to mention it...there was one rookie, but a couple of trigger twitches later and he was in my hold tied up crying for his Corsair mama *sniggers*.
Anyhow, the goods were dropped off New-Berlin side, when the prickliest Rheinland officer in need of a hearing aid shows up. I'm telling you, that guy needs to get laid!He trailed us all the way back out to the Omega's as we carted light arms to Southampton Shipyards. He did give me this great idea for a mine that drills through cockpits and THEN explodes *laughter*... anyone know the R&D officer?
Anyhow, back on point, lights arms delivered and pints all round. Joneseyboy and Clarke, I owe you both a shot planetside. Hope you boys can hold ya drink, it's Sidewinder Sunday!

To: ExSec Director - Jonathan McCarthy Priority: Medium Topic: Application for Light Fighter Permit
Transmission details:
Good Evening Sir!
I'd like to submit these forms for a Light Fighter permit, specifically for a Hussar vessel. *Incoming data package... Data received*
Putting aside the personal reason of the inevitable rush travelling at high cruise speeds brings... there are a number of reasons the little bird may bring to our escort fleet. For starters, it would make an ideal point scout, attracting little attention and in a pinch able to travel back to the convoy at high speeds in a crisis. For more...clandestine... operations, spreading out a vessel or two to different locations will be easier at 450 cruise. Secondly, having a varied force for defending convoys could prove useful. Craft designed to counter our number of heavy fighters may have trouble with such a mobile vessel.
With your permission, I'd like to acquire and begin advanced training with a Hussar to provide these advantages to ExSec.

Incoming Transmission from Scarborough Shipyard, Newcastle system
07/04/822 A.S.
To: Bowex InfoNet Priority: High Topic: Convoy report and debrief for 06/04/22.
Convoy Participants:
BES Johnson - Andrew Peterson.
BES Charles Hitchens - George Grenville.
BES Sheridan - Aaron Clarke.
ExSec Sian Breacon.
ExSec Junko Sanada.
Convoy Information: The convoy initially mustered outside Planet New London orbit, initially consisting of the BES Johnson and Charles Hitchens and ExSec operative Breacon. From there, we departed for Rheinland, proceeding initially to the New Berlin system where I dropped off my cargo of Gin and transferred for a cargo of Rheinbeer. Then, all three ships moved on to the Munich system, where Mr Grenville dropped off his Super Alloys. We then collected Aluminium and High Temperature Alloys, respectively for the return trip to Scarborough.
Upon our return to Bretonia, Mr Clarke clocked in aboard the BES MacGregor, with the purported aim of providing ExSec guidance to Combine captains. Regrettably, the captain was... indisposed, so he instead retrieved the BES Sheridan and accompanied our newest ExSec operative, Ms Sanada, to an RV with the convoy in Omega 3. Upon all convoy elements being united in the Omegas, we returned to Bretonian core space at best speed.
Convoy Incidents: Regrettably, the technical issues with the Johnson mentioned by Mr Forder previously reoccurred and resulted in an emergency mooring at Canterbury Station in order to patch a coolant leak in the forward-aft engine. I've already forwarded a job ticket and complaint to Services, seeing as this was supposed to have been fixed already.
Other Notes: I can only extend praise to our two newest ExSec agents, Ms Breacon and Sanada. Both have shows professionalism and aptitude that does both themselves and the company credit so far. I am sure both will go on to do great things.
In other more personal news, I have been awarded the honour and privilege of the title Member of the Bretonian Empire (MBE) in recognition of services rendered to the realm. The Crown is watching us, and recognises our actions. All of you, keep up your own excellent work and no doubt you'll be next on the list!*
*Mr Clark discounted, for obvious reasons.

Really? A Light Fighter? What do you want to do with that? Give the Kusarian something to eat his food with?
Huh. Didn't know people still flew those. Personally I thought they all went extinct, ever since the wonderful mosquito spray of missiles and/or flak was invented. Although I suppose having a varied security force might throw pirates off the loop, they're not the most attentive bunch. Hmm, maybe having those cannibals chase kitchen utensils is a good idea.
Yes! Wonderful! Great! Happy to see someone taking initiative. Good on you, matey!

Convoy Participants:
BES Charles Hitchen - George Grenville.
BES Johnson - Andrew Peterson.
BES Thatcher - Jones
BES Durham - Ed Forder
ExSec Teutonic - Aaron Clarke
Convoy Information:
Convoy started from Planet New London. It was a mixture of Super Alloy and Gin, both of which were to be delivered to Planet New Berlin. The return trip was made with Side Arms, which were delivered to HMS Ark Royal for storage until, delivery could be arranged for delivery to Planet Leeds.
Convoy Incidents:
After meeting at Planet New London and awaiting our Mission Brief, we were rudely interrupted by a Gateway Operative. This Captain seemed to have a great difficulty steering his ship, a Serenity, as he took about 5 attempts to Dock with the Planet. Once he undocked it appeared either he was seriously ill or, more than likely, intoxicated as he went from one Trade Lane to another, possibly trying to work out which way he was to go. He was also hurling abuse whilst our 5 Ships just sat idly by. No wonder they never seem to keep their Contracts if this is the general standard of their Employees.
We then set off to New Berlin. We appeared to be being 'tailed' by another Gateway Operative through Cambridge. On arriving near Freeport 1, in Omega-3, we again met the Gateway Ship we had seen at Planet New London. I personally think that this Captain had just willy-nilly taken Trade Lanes and had somehow, not surprising really if he was intoxicated, got lost. It appears that the second Gateway Operative was there to show the intoxicated? lost? Captain of the Serenity the way back to Bretonia and possibly bed so that he could sleep it off.
We duly arrived in New Berlin with no further incidents. The Cargo was dropped of and the Side Arms picked up from the Ring. At this time Mr. Peterson developed major engine problems, again, and had to be left behind as it appears it was rather terminal (I think that his engines require a complete overhaul). Also at this time Mr. Clarke also reported engine problems but was wiling to 'soldier on'. This problem became more severe and Mr Clark then had to dock at Dortmund Station to effect repairs. The problem appeared to easily resolved as he was soon back in action.
The rest of the journey to Bretonia was uneventful except for when got near Freeport 1 the Gateway Serenity was ahead of us. He was still hurling abuses (maybe he slipped his guide?). Anyway he disappeared down the Trade Lane towards Cambridge. We sedately followed on and lost contact with him.
When we entered in to New London from the Jump Gate we saw that the Gateway Serenity and another Gateway Ship (I didn't have time to scan it) were conversing with an apparent Hostile (later I found out it was a Wilde?). Mr. Clarke told us to carry on with our journey whilst he offered assistance to the beleaguered Gateway Captains.
We delivered the Consignment and I then collected some Super Alloys to deliver to Planet New London. On arriving at the Planet I once again met Mr. Clarke that informed me that both Gateway Ships were destroyed by the Wilde. A sad day for the possible loss of life but a good day for our Company as a few less ships that the competition have.

Oh right, in response to those glowy blue jellyfish and humans possessed by them making a smash hit return, I'd like to issue some sage advice as to how recognize the sods. They'll usually try to be sneaky but completely fail at it, especially if you use my advice.
RIght, strap yourselves in lads. This might come as common sense to some, but the company lets a remarkable amount of people in, indeed!
If while talking to someone you experience strange visions and sounds accompanied by sudden bursts of emotions it's probably an alien, or it could be a manager. I don't know. Either that or you have visited the pub one too many times, or you have had cardamine, or you have gone insane.
However you can confirm your sanity if the captain is acting bizarre, and if the energy reading attempts to blow up your beautiful eyes when you scan their ship. They usually forget to remove bits and bobs of their technology. For a race that's been here for a while according to some lads who want to take my beard for samples (apparently there's life in there), they are about as sloppy as your average employee.
Avoid the jellies lads. Would hate to have to shoot you meself if you don't.
