ok i drew a new picture of Mon'Star and before i started coloring it i thought....hey, since there are like...oh... a butt-ton (which is a lot) of people that are waaaay better in Photoshop than i am here in Discovery. why not see what they can do with it....THEN (i know the fun just keeps coming right?)...i thought why not post the others also and just turn it into a coloring extravaganza!!!
ok, i'm not sure the best way of doing this. i do know that when working in Photoshop...you want the picture your working with to be as big as possible for greater detail....so....if these are good enough i can send them e-mail if need be.
i just thought it's be a fun thing to do....anyway...here ya go
and this is the new one....i left his body kinda unfinished because my intent was to have it barely visible if at all. the light in the picture would be focus on Mon'Star's face and knife.
here are some i did that you can use for color references
colouring in photoshop is the most tedious work ever... I hate doing that so I'll pass my turn ><
but suggestion: do as much colour gradient as possible. It makes good effect in sigs, otherwise too plain colour make it looks like a piece of 2d paper.

awww, blue, you forgot to darken your lines. Then you also used the airbrush to color, bad idea m8 it eaves a blotchy finish. I actually dont color in CS2 i use PDN. Its a lot faster and easyer to use. another thing, on almost all things its easyer to do a hard shadow rather than a gradient, but if you REALLY want that realistic gradient effect you should first do a hard shadow (fairly easy to do) then put that on Photoshop and use the blur tool to soften the edge a bunch. If this virus-scan Im running atm works Ill be able to get on PDN and CS2 and show yall what I mean. (FINALLY, somone talks about one of the very few things Im good at, shading/coloring/inking) Although I will admit that the sorry excuse for antialiasing that PDN uses it veryvery annoying what you can do is make a second layer on top of what you are inking and ink on that, since it is a transparent layer you wont have the ugly white dots along your inklines to wipe off one-by-one afterwords.

If you can get it, I prefer working with manga studio somethingorother over photoshop. It's more drawing friendly methinks, and works brilliantly with a tablet pen. I'll see what I can do over the weekend.
