I recently started playing Strife since now its on Steam. Its the most fun i ever had in a "MOBA".The community is a bunch of friendly Russians when it comes to the EU server,at least from my experience.
All in all the game is pretty "Crispeh."Anyone else playing it? 8)
I played two games of it and didn't really find it all that amusing. Then again, when I played it it was deep in beta so it might have already changed.

Hots tho.
The community is what is amusing, the game itself has some in depth mechanics but its pretty easy to master.I find it a pleasure to play with people who will say "LoL XD" when you die in a strange way and not "Report this noob for feeding.",or who say "GG well played guys " when they loose rather then "Report my team bunch of f**** noobs."
The Toxic community made me leave League. Here that is not a problem.
Yeah, I know Stife.
Looks pretty good for a first person shooter. A lot of people would call it a "Doom clone". But once you look deeper, you'll see it's a much more different and unique game. It's a pretty old title, you can probably tell by the textures and polygons. It's nice to see other people who have played and appreciated it. I would have played it myself, but I have some difficulties running it and gave up. Maybe I'll try another time later on.

Wrong Strife XD
I'm talking about the MOBA on Steam.Dough i played this one too.
Yeah it was pretty good for 1996. Could say a Deus Ex grand daddy, all mechanics were already there, may be a bit rudimentary due to technical limitations of the engine but still. Story and setting was quite interesting and unique, a blend of dark fantasy with sci-fi, hadn't seen something like that afterwards. Heck it even had multiple endings, could talk to enemies, some maps had different solutions. Wouldn't mind all a full remake of that.
Oh, you're talking about that moba we've-been-over-that-before thing? Meh. Here's crossbow, just aim straight and --splat--.
I remember when new games were unique. Yeah sure every time a new interesting title came out someone was bound to make a few copies of it . Just like Strife. But even then, most copies actually added something really unique to them. Like Strife. Of course, they do this nowadays too, but the changes feel like gimmicks more than everything else. Strife is a good example.
