If i recall correctly CTE is the company that produced the vanilla FL civilian ship line?And the current Roc,Eagle,Griffin Kestel,Falcon and so on.So it will relate to that.And it already is as stated above?Maybie it will be more of a Role Playing faction,rather then a Trading and/or PvP faction?

Would you mind to elaborate on this? I know it's WIP, but as of right now I'm just curious why I wouldn't pirate you. I could see it if you were actual Zoners, but you aren't.
Anyways, other than that the write-up looks interesting so far.
Oh yeah about that.Actually it does make sense inRP,since unlawful's cant go to the nearest shipyard and get an Eagle or a Roc.They need the CTE to smuggle in a few,charging a significantly larger amount then the market value to the unlawful faction.It would be good for forum RP,but i don't see any other use for it honestly.

Hm, well the thing about black markets is, that once something is on it you don't have any control where it goes afterwards. Say you sell one of your ships to Junkers on Kreutzberg Depot in Rheinland: it might end up in the hands of some independet Gallic pirate, who doesn't care about who the manufacturer is or if he is on good terms with them.
But yeah, WIP. Just some food for thinking as you continue developing it.
Regarding unlawfuls, think about it like Zoners, but the problem is there's no other fitting ID for CTE but either Zoner or Freelancer. On the other hand, it would be sort of abuse of Zoner ID, since CTE isn't really a Zoner faction - but isn't really a "racist" one, as it doesn't matter from where money is coming from + CTE (should?) seem to have Zoner connections.
As for regarding choice of Zoner ID or IFF, the two things have been taken into consideration:
1) CTE line can be found mostly onto all Zoner Freeports (some models are available inside House Space, as stated in bio.) - Both would have shares from sell?
2) The reusage of the old Zoner blueprint was yet another hint that there is connection between CTE and Zoners. - Zoners would just give away the bluepring for a pocket warship?
Regarding being pirated, Zoner ID says that player is indeed neutral to everyone, BUT it doesn't meant it cannot be pirated. On the other hand, CTE line is available to the unlawfuls - even if through Zoner connections onto Freeport.
However, for safety reasons, unless admins, devs and Zoners of course can agree on usage of the Zoner ID for CTE, I'd go using Freelancer ID/IFF combo onto Zoner restart to prevent "forced" neutrality. On the other hand, as I mentioned, being Zoner does not exempt player from being pirated, yet CTE is surely offering shady supplies and repairs for their products, no matter the client.
You know, they operate mostly inside Border Worlds and Egde Worlds.
As for roleplay style... Expect something new. Aside of trade and roleplay (let's say, supplies, allowances, questions regarding legality and clear account inside Houses), there would be second objective. It would answer why CTE has been thrown out of Liberty in the initial phase and why their line is so successful and still comparable to the other manufacturers.
I'd only point out that style of roleplay is unnoticed or ignored as a possibility by all corporate factions, especially those with internal feud between them.

Do you mind elaborating a bit more on how exactly you intend representing the process of "manufacture and maintain CTE shipline" within the limits of in-game mechanics and roleplay boundaries?
As a civilian ship manufacturer :
What ship building facilities do you use ?
I know its not easy to "get a wharft placed freely" and so on, but have you been thinking about inRP explanations ?
Or do you simply use the Zoner shipjards, renting space and / or cooperating with them there ?
Will you have the long term goal to build an own ship jard ?
I might have some interest in cooperating with you from Tinkers, definitively some long term RP I would enjoy.
@Thyrzul
I have been thinking about something connected to the ship dealing section of the forum, in which CTE would be given orders for a bit higher price than you would buy and equip it yourself. In exchange for that however, every CTE ship would be equipped, outfitted and moved into desired destination. In short: you pay, we assemble & deliver - rather than doing it yourself. As it comes up to the price, it wouldn't cross 10 million of profit for CTE in the most expensive examples, such as delivery of gunboat to the unlawfuls for example..
@FynnMcScrap
Now that's a very good question here. I haven't thought out this up, however I believe Freeports might be equipped with small assemble areas, because vessels from Griffin to Kestrel are small enough to be assembled in such small station. Yet problem arises with Civilian Gunboats, but I believe this matter goes for the point I've made out in the backstory for the CTE Incorporated: they could be assembled in the house space as they are the biggest and the most lethal vessels that could be aquired from CTE.
