Yeah, simple and nice! Do something about hand protection on sword, as it's black on black atm. And I think Snake wants a cross, he's just calling it sun. Your sun style goes better with the dragon, but I'd give him what he wants.

Hey and rotate one dragon's claw a bit, so it would look like dragon is holding the sword with both claws. Would put more drama in, imho.

Darn - I upload wrong version, I already replace file so now the hand protection is silver/gray as it should be.
But I will try also check Your suggestions - with hand and 'sun' replacement.

good job, but the sword isnt straight down, look at the bottom part of the red points, where the sword meets the red, it isnt matching
