The LN (indie) ID has NL included in its ZOI but as I've been told by a BAF member, I'm still to seek permission from a high ranking BAF if I'm to enter NL, any clarification on this please?

You was told by me (I was flying my Commander character rather than my Fleet Admiral). What I told you is true. If you wish to enter, you should seek permission from the highest ranking officer (hence saying those with Adm. or Cdre. in their name as they are Admirals/Commodores respectively). There should be one in game to represent us (as I likely won't make it unfortunately). There shouldn't be a problem with it, but it's still at the discretion of the highest ranking officer (or the battlegroup's CO). Thank you for asking and double checking though.

I see, thanks for the info and yeah, I like if not double then tripple checking
Please ignore the pm that I've sent earlier.
We received information this morning regarding the impending gallic threat from BAF HQ.
We are sending the following 3 vessels to assist with the 'cleanup'
#1 - HMS-Dublin - dunkirk class heavy battleship, crew complement classified, loadout classified *note this vessel is undergoing a comm refit and may not reply.
#2 - Lonzo - bretonia destroyer - skeleton crew with armour refit - weapon rebalance in progress - launch imminent
Quote:The OORP bit...
My dad Daz- bret battleship (not fast at typing)
My friend from next door Jon - bret destroyer (a total dude)
Me - wait and see (BAF)(don't hurt me!)
