People will you finally shut up, the ADMIN/MOD/DEV will plan the event, you can make recommendations and suggestions but NO bloody player in here has decision rights on HOW it will go, it is all up to THEM, get it guys!
And for the record CHECK the bloody OP, and then ASK the ADMIN/MOD/DEV WHAT counts as allies in PM for clarification, be it via infocard or lorewise.
Sweet Jesus when do these ...people check that the players have no bloody say and stop reacting to every lolwut saying "THAT is allowed/THAT isn't allowed"
EDIT: The post before my post, kind of my words just in polite mode.
So basically "WHAT HE SAYS!"

Neither BAF nor the Council are allied to the other in their infocards, ergo, by the current guidelines they're not invited unless an organiser says otherwise.
Nothing in the OP states that participation is restricted by allies based on infocards, that was just Blodo's yellow bullcrap. If we are to determine alliance based on infocards, then I kindly ask the development team to update them first, to list all allies accordingly, not just some select few (e.g. BAF infocard states no more allies than BPA and Bretonian Corporations, no Exiles, no BHG, no BIS, no Privateers, no LN, nobody else... oh and doesn't list GRN under enemies...). Until that happens I will not accept such restriction.
And about BHG's alliance to BAF, there's something I stumbled upon while searching in FLInfocardIE:
"Bounty hunting is a very different occupation than soldiering. Bounty hunters can follow orders, but at the end of the day, we are in it for the credits, not the glory. A tactical retreat is always in our best interests. That's not the case with the military. If we somehow get pulled into fighting the BAF's war with Gallia, I don't want to get killed because some Admiral needs more time for his own withdrawal. I signed up for a payday, not a posthumous medal for valor." ~ 132399

If "Bretonian Corporations" weren't listed on the BAF's infocard, and they didn't have Leeds in their ZoI, I wouldn't have listed them. It's a pretty basic concept. Why do you think Liberty Corporations and LPI were also listed but crossed out? Must be some sort of conspiracy.
I'm personally interested in cracking out some Bowex bombers, yes, but if they weren't specifically allowed to attend as stated in the OP, I wouldn't have raised any fuss.
Apologies then, I remember you being associated with Bowex leadership long ago, maybe there were some changes I did not keep a track of. However, my point about "infocard allies" still stands. Let's just have a logical list of main opponents and close allies.
@TheProphet
Well, that was something I didn't know about Bowex, nor seen much of it yet. As for the Exiles, that sounds kinda like what the Council does too, having Leeds in ZoI, raiding GRN, supporting BAF, etc.

Surely if Blodo only produces "yellow bullcrap", the OP is equally illegitimate and we all vanish up our own rear-ends into a nihilistic parallel universe where nothing is true and everything is permitted? Groovy.
Considering the Council's infocard is probably more up to date than the BAFs, and still doesn't list them as an ally in the same way as the Exiles do, I'd hazard a guess that they're probably not meant to be on there. I mean, you've got the CR on there, so someone's obviously done some updates.
Also, as I've said before, just because you're hostile to the GRN, doesn't mean you're relevant in what's basically a Liberty-led military operation. Your time will come. Not everyone gets to attend every event. Having Bret corps there is weird, yes. And BHG is frankly a bad idea as you've pointed out. But them's the rules.
And why does Kjolborn's identity matter? He still had a good point.
So uh... will you people cut the crap and stop the moaning? That's 13 pages of stupid moans because certain people aren't invited to the event. Do you wanna participate? Make a character of the faction that is invited - simple. You are broke? Leave the thread, go make some money and stop whining on forum because it ain't gonna solve anything.
It's exactly the opposite - You might touch some nerves and there won't be an event at all. Grow up people, jeez.
On the other hand, this is a -Liberty/BAF- operation ONLY. Tell me more about how are the Colonials aware of such plans. Tell me more about why would BAF risk it's Corporations' pilots in the middle of a war. Or tell me more about Junkers showing up outta nowhere for the event when i haven't interacted with one in AGES in Leeds. But yea, it's all about the ganking right?
Maybe this should be an Official Faction Members Only event, so people can mind their own damn business and stop the whining.

I never said all what he produces is bullcrap, but this "allies by infocard" thing happens to be. Please do not put words in my mouth I did not speak.

Infocards have never been listing the whole diplomatic sheet at all, there are usually no more than a few things listed and up to date or not, the Council infocard is not accurare in this regard either. We are allied to LN, LPI, LSF, all Libby corps, we are allied to BAF, BPA, BIS, all Bretonian corps, none of them are listed, the only thing that seems to be accurate is the list of our enemies, because we kinda only have that few factions we are openly hostile towards.
Tl;dr - Infocards are not a reliable source of information regarding diplomacy and should not be used as reference in anything related to that. There are way better sources and reference points than infocards. Like Lore...

If there is logic behind why Council is left out, I can cope with that, I only want to believe that in Bretonia's struggle against GRN we are more significant than random bounty hunters and are at least as significant as the chopped off remnants of the old IKN.

What I mean is more that Exiles have been in very close co-operation with us to supply the front and do diversionary attacks on the GRN in Leeds specifically, and their NPCs have a spawn point on the armed forces satellite. Correct me if I am wrong, but I haven't seen anything of the sort concerning the Council and I've always thought you guys were more oriented towards the Taus/Core Gallia, rather than being in direct contact with Leeds.

This is in our back yard, and as primary suppliers of the front, we are a bit concerned about the whole thing. I mean, we have been "risking our lives" to help the BAF since forever. That's just sort of what Bowex does. We make sure that supplies reach the crown and we provide a steady supply of auxiliaries.

Really I think the council, exiles, bowex, and BAF are the only LNS allies that should be allowed, no it might not be directly in their info card, but then again council gets 90% of its activity from fighting as BAF allies. And most of the CLN pilots I know are the only non Lolwut indies. If they need to be kept out than ok, maybe I'll make another event for them later.
