A Junker by the name of "Leon Stanley" contacted us over long-range comms, interested in a business deal. After arriving at Bruchsal, I tasked him with acquiring the software needed to complete our Contract with The Order. His efficiency remains in question, especially concerning his completely unarmed freighter.
Afterwards, I managed to locate several Corsair ships not far from the solar center of Sigma-13; they claimed to be waiting for a Freelance contact to bring them food rations in exchange for their cargo of Tungsten. While I was admittedly... willing to allow them to leave with the necessities of survival, their claim that the raids upon Rheinlandic space would continue regardless was unacceptable.
With the help of staggered reinforcement, we manged to destroy the entire convoy. After the transport was disabled by the Vorsitzende's Bomber, I withdrew to Frankfurt proper to summon the Arsenal; Sigma-13's Crow Nebula was wreaking havoc with our transmissions. The Arsenal managed to secure what remained of the Tungsten as a Maltese Gunboat attempted to "mop-up" our forces after the third Brotherhood Vessel was disabled. To my understanding, its effort was unsuccessful. The operation was ultimately successful; we managed to secure the Tungsten and secure the immediate area near Sigma-13's lane.
Aktivist McDowell and the Vorsitzende each had their respective Bombers disabled by The Brotherhood; I've already commissioned the Quartermasters to secure replacements as soon as possible.
The Blood Dragons met us to discuss diplomacy and the recent resurgence of Nomad material trafficking and increased Wilde activity. Having presented the evidence Klugmann found about Nassau and after some negotiation, we agreed upon an alliance between the our two organizations.
The primary points of the alliance are:
1. Defense against the K'hara and Wilde incursions.
2. Exchange of technology and supplies.
3. Support against the KNF, RM and BDM in the Sigmas.
[01.04.2015 23:02:31] VWA|Matthias.Zillich: We share a common enemy as well in the Nomads. Both of our organisations have spilt blood in the Nomad Wars.

[01.04.2015 23:03:24] BD|Kohaku.Hokama: Both our forces fight the Nomads and their Goverment.... the best to do would be to support each other

[01.04.2015 23:05:49] VWA|Matthias.Zillich: Hmm, how should we say it? Perhaps an alliance against a common enemy, ja?
[01.04.2015 23:06:02] BD|Kohaku.Hokama: *Nods* I see...
[01.04.2015 23:06:43] BD|Kohaku.Hokama: With both our forces fighting the Nomads on both sides... we would be a much bigger force against them

[01.04.2015 23:18:39] BD|Kohaku.Hokama: With the Nomads gone... and the ones realised from their claws... maybe some people will come to sense
[01.04.2015 23:19:22] VWA|Matthias.Zillich: Some of our pilots might not share ideologies, Dragons. However rest assured that you /will/ have our full support against -
[01.04.2015 23:19:32] VWA|Matthias.Zillich: those monsters.
[01.04.2015 23:19:40] BD|Mount.Zao: Aruga: I hope I live to see the rightfull rulers of Kusari on the throne...
[01.04.2015 23:19:40] BD|Kohaku.Hokama: The same goes for us
[01.04.2015 23:20:30] VWA|Erich.Klugmann: I'm... Admittedly curious regarding the history and intentions of the Dragon throne, but I suppose that could wait.
[01.04.2015 23:20:44] VWA|Matthias.Zillich: And we too want the same for our country, in one way or another, a rightful government to be restored.
[01.04.2015 23:20:59] BD|Kohaku.Hokama: *Nods* We need to take care of the Nomads first
The pilot of the Mephistoles has refused to listen to reason time and again, despite our best efforts. Finally in his mind he has decided to brand us all as terrorists and shoot us on sight. Do not waste your time on him.
His friend is even less communicative. He appears to communicate solely through his ship, heavily armed with CODENAME weaponry. These two are branded as hostile by the VWA. Do not hesitate.
The main point of this report is our alliance with the Dragons. I'm certain this will be displeasing to quite a few of our pilots but I invite you to bear the following in mind. Our organizations have more similarities than most people think. Both of us fight against a government we deem as unrighteous, governments that hide what happened from the public eye so they might save face, and governments who chose to ignore what happened and refuse to learn from it. Additionally we share history in the Nomad conflict, we have both suffered great losses and played key roles in its resolution.
Due to the nature of our common enemy and the potential dangers we are facing, I know every single one of you will be prepared to set aside differences and fight the common enemy in order to protect all mankind.
It is as they said:
"BD|Kohaku.Hokama: *Nods* Two weakened forces... strong together... fighting for a safe future.... so shall it be."
We do not hide our history, we know what happened 20 years ago. Let us prevent it from happening again.

After the meeting with the Order and BD in Omicrons, one of the agents named Desmond Gray asked me if I'd agree to join him so that he would show me around the Order's space.
The Omicrons are indeed beautiful as I've heard, but I was told the dangers would appear anytime and anywhere. We jumped to another system, where a few bluish vessels attempting to engage us.I was not ready to ask him what they were, but luckily we succeeded to escape from -them. Herr Gray would show me more, but a Bounty Hunter Destroyer's arrival ruined our conversation. Yet,perhaps the captain of that cruiser realized that there were no hostile ships equivalent to his ship class, he turned around and left. By then, it was time for me to return to Rheinland as well.
I was contacted by Dr. Miracle of the Cryer vessel "Red Cross". She said she had some goods that our medical team could use. Surprisingly these supplies consisted of Synthetic Marijuana. Well, it's not for me to decide what's needed in the medbays and what not. If a doctor says we need it I'll take it. Anyway, we met near the Kreuzberg Depot and we agreed upon the price of 2000 credits per unit. I acquired 570 units and delivered them to Bruchsal. Fortunately all went smoothly and we were not caught before, during or after the exchange.
Today, along with Oberst Klugmann we conducted a patrol around Taunusfeld, where we encountered two Rheinwehr ships. We were also approached by a Hessian who, however, did not take part in the fight that ensued shortly after.

Accolades are in order for all those valiant defenders of Frankfurt and Rheinland a day prior.
A massive taskforce of Corsairs - What "task" they'd intended still remains in question - Approached Frankfurt from the Sigmas, spouting their war-cries as per usual. Thankfully we were able to muster a counterstrike with some of Rheinland's finest snub-pilots and fend off the entire attack with minimal losses.
Mission Objective: Territorial Defense Commanding Officer: Oberst Erich Klugmann - VWA|Erich.Klugmann (Series Z "Sabre") Friendly Forces:
• Aktivist Martin Schaff - VWA|Martin.Schaff (BYC "Marauder")
Notable Encounters:
•Federal Task Force - Neutral A mixed force of Military Snubcraft and Gunboats, ALG Corporate Defense Gunboats, and one "Bismarck"-class Battleship; An impromptu ceasefire was agreed upon, likely upon them having encountered us in combat. •Corsair Task Force - Hostile A somewhat top-heavy force of assorted Snubcraft flown by members of The Brotherhood, and no fewer than four Battleship-size ships.
The Corsairs were slowly whittled down after having entered Frankfurt from Sigma-13, and their advance was halted entirely before the capital ships amongst their force could reach the civilian centers of Holstein and Mainz. Admittedly I'm somewhat at a loss as to the strategic intention of the invaders; they attack anything in sight, but they most certainly aren't taking or holding ground just yet.
Regardless, we only lost one snubcraft during the entire engagement in comparison to likely many hundred lives lost aboard the disabled battleships.
With the steadily improving combat analysis and training that we as the Spearhead of the Bundschuh are experiencing, I'm of the belief that a system of awards, medals, and "accomplishments" is in order. Expect joint negotiations between myself and the Vorsitzende within the near future; to say nothing of certain individuals becoming Kommandants.
I was ordered to go on a recon mission with the Oberst, when we got ambushed by a strong military force. Furthermore, on a later patrol we encountered a Golden Chrysanthemum. The most troubling Encounter was in the crow nebula though, where we found a strange new system.
Mission Objective: Reconnaissance/Patrol Commanding Officer: Oberst Erich Klugmann - VWA|Erich.Klugmann (Series Z "Sabre") Friendly Forces:
• Aktivist Helmut von Stierlitz - VWA|Arsenal (Z-8550 "Pitbull"); Crew of 4 • Aktivist Dr. Annika Jana Haupt - VWA|Nika.Haupt (Series Z "Sabre") • Aktivist Kai Reinhardt - VWA|Kai.Reinhardt (TR4c-T0R "Sichel")
Notable Encounters:
•Order Ships - Friendly In total three Order ships reinforcing Bruchsals Defense against the federals •Federal Taskforce - Hostile In total three Gunboats, one Bomber and one Fighter attacking the Revolutionary forces. Got beaten back to Mainz •Hessian Reinforcements - Friendly A 'Hel' Class Cruiser and another Hessian reinforcing the Widerstands defense of Bruchsal •~*~Hana.Ken - Neutral GC investigating the Occurences yesterday. Brief exchange about beliefs and goals •GMG|Nagate.Tanaka - Neutral Miner Security vessel defending Naha from an Outcast. Brief exchange about yesterday's events •Omanyd -Neutral Freelancing smuggler. Needed escort through Rheinland, covered him until Freital
Initially tasked with covering the Arsenal on another flight to the Omicrons, our objective quickly changed to a mere defense. Two federal Gunboats showed up and engaged us, as well as one of our Order allies. They even got further reinforcements, and hadn't it been for the Hessians and the Order task forces showing up, I believe we wouldn't have pushed them back to Mainz.
After that, I had been given a slight break to recover and wait for the Oberst to finish his paperwork. He had ordered me to go on a patrol with him. We initially set out for Sigma-13, to find answers about the strong concentration of hispanics there yesterday. Instead, we found a GC pilot that apparently had no clue about the reasons for the incident. We had a brief discussion with her about our respective goals, which was indeed interesting, but after some time, we moved on with our patrol.
The Oberst decided that it would be a good Idea to scout the situation in western Rheinland. After some time, we ran into a freelancing smuggler, who asked us for an escort to Freital. Klugmann decided it would be a viable Idea. After I finished the escort duty, Klugmann had issues with an Ion Storm, and ended up in New Hampshire. Apparently searching for his way back, he stumbled upon a jump anomaly, that he couldn't resist to check. It lead somewhere in the crow nebula, a system swarming with purple and black dust particles in an Ice field. After following him, I saw it myself - a pretty creepy sight, I have to admit. The dust particles however seemed to have damaged my guncam, so I couldn't take a picture of the LSF ships engaging me shortly afterwards. We fled, and quickly returned to Bruchsal.
Closing remark: I do apologize for me not providing further information about the unknown system. I will work some filters into my guncams and start a recon mission myself later on, perhaps I'm able to scout it. The presence of hostile LSF ships troubles me deeply, and I'd like to investigate.
Furthermore, the federal forces are getting more and more cocky every day. We should perhaps be a bit more careful when planning operations, since I suspect they have sensors around the Taunusfeld.
As I already announced yesterday, I decided to put my new Order ship to good use and scout the system we discovered.
Mission Objective: Scouting/Reconnaissance Commanding Officer:Aktivist Dr. Annika Jana Haupt - 042D "Bastet" Order Heavy Fighter Friendly Forces:
~none~
The system we found there seems to be... interesting, Its whole expanse seems to be covered in a black/purple dust field, in it's center concentrate Ice Asteroids of huge proportions, blackened by years in the dust. It seems to be a system almost solely controlled by the LSF
What troubles me though is the fact that the LSF in it seems to be overtly hostile. Despite transmitting my standard IFF, every ship and installation immediately opened fire upon noticing me.
Furthermore, I do suspect that there is at least one jump anomaly into the known Sigma Systems, considering that systems rarely have only one jump connection, and its astronomically near location to the Sigmas makes the assumption viable. Furthermore, I discovered two fortified locations in the system, without a base near them. Logic dictates that these are locations of said anomalies, although I didn't manage to get near enough to scan for it.
The system is interesting, but not more than that. The hostile LSF troubles me, but it is too far to efficiently do something about it. I propose notifying the Order Overwatch of this connection and system, since we lack the resources to investigate the case, especially considering that it doesn't really lie inside our Zone of Interest.
• Aktivist Karl Blazkowicz - VWA|Eagle.Watch (90-ARKM-N45 "Wraith") Notable Encounters: •Kitty.Velasquez - Hostile
A Bounty Hunter with lust to kill •Elliot.Velasquez.Jr - Hostile
The brother of the bloody hunter •DHC Convoy - Unfriendly
DHC-Achille.Claude (ship not identified)
DHC-Excalibur (AP-385 "Orca")
2 Bounty Hunters with lust to kill approached. My leader tried to convince them not to make a bloodbath, but it was useless. The DHC ships left the place without engaging us. The battle was short, my leader returned to Freital in a escape pod with me.
Closing remarks: I apologize I retreated against the Hunters, but I saw there was no possibilty to win in a battle 4vs1(me)
I went on a pretty quiet patrol today. Despite small disturbances, I met an interesting individual, a Kusarian, to be exact. Furthermore, the Outcasts seem to be actively smuggling again.
Mission Objective: Patrol Commanding Officer: Oberst Erich Klugmann - VWA|Erich.Klugmann (Series Z "Sabre") Friendly Forces:
• Aktivist Doktor Annika Jana Haupt - VWA|Nika,Haupt (042D "Bastet" Order Heavy Fighter)
Notable Encounters:
•[KNF]'Kuromaguro' - Neutral Met in the Westerwald, which is of course suspicious, she seemed to seek refuge. Long conversation followed. •Kormann - Unfriendly Unioner, met pirating the lane to the Sigma-13 Jumpgate. We told him to go mind his own business in Hamburg. •Outcast convoy - Hostile Multiple ships, at least two vessels of the Crimson Cross (further intel needed) plus escorts. Passed us, fleeing, without a word. •Karl.Wernher - Friendly Hessian vessel, briefly accompanying us on our retreat to the Taunusfeld •K'Hara|Ry'vi - Hostile Clearly alien ship disturbingly escorting the Outcast ships. Disrupted multiple lanes, then vanished.
We set out on a standard patrol through Frankfurt. In the Westerwald the Oberst suddenly got hit heavily by an Ion Storm, which left me with the task searching him. Seeing his vessel was unharmed and his systems coming back online, I patrolled the vicinity, to get possible military patrols off our arses. Out of nowhere, a Kusari-IDed vessel showed up, as it later turned out, a member of the Tokkeitai (Note by author: That translates roughly to 'military police'), which apparently functions as a sort of MI in the Kusarian Naval Force.
The Kusarian then proceeded to tell us much about the way she arrived in our home. He apparently set out for the Omicrons for no particular reason, meeting with the Core there. Furthermore, and interestingly enough, it looks like she wasn't really allowed todo so, making him essentially breaking his orders. She then claimed to not have returned to Kusari because she fears repercussions because of her quasi-desertion. I don't really trust her word though. She seemed sleazy.
While we were talking to the Kusarian, we got interrupted by both an Unioner (as mentioned above) and a maltese convoy, presumably hauling something supply-like for their drug hell they call a home. What troubled me the most though was the undoubtedly alien ship escorting them and disrupting us following them.
Closing remarks.
The Kusarian troubles me. I advise to watch him closely. Since he docked on Holstein, it should be pretty easy to track his moves.
The main problem is the Alien Vessel though. I am considering setting off on a recon mission to scout the Cross' connection to the Nomads, although I doubt it will be to much avail. They have always been pretty sneaky about what they do and how the operated.
