Hello there freelancer users i request your help.
I have recently installed a vanilla copy of Freelancer to fly again with Jun'ko Zane and i've encountered a big problem.
I am unable to remove the "Flight text" "Press Space to disable x" (You know what i mean)
I found on a random thread made on this forum that i should add a parameter "-noflighttext" but it didn't worked.
Then i found this: http://the-starport.net/freelancer/wiki/...eaking_101
I didn't understood what to change when the default value looks like XX->XX.

(The Tutorial: http://www.memes.no/88flak/downloads/bet...torial.htm )

Can anyone of you help me remove that annoying text . Via Hex Editor or Anything?

n0thing out.

I can try to modify the exe. Is there a difference between mouse flight text and the rollover help option in options/general menu ?

Try this one : http://www.filedropper.com/freelancer

I have modified the 0DCA20 offset to remove the mouse flight text.

Thank you man. It worked. But i am more interestred in learning how to edit that.
Like in the tutorial i am using Hexplorer

1. http://i.imgur.com/DVv4kv4.png )I've opened the program)
2. http://i.imgur.com/B5m1hWq.png (I've dragged&dropped the unmodified freelancer.exe)
3. http://i.imgur.com/eRRAyQy.png (I've highlighted the )DCA20 offset)
4. Now what do i do ??? (If the value was like in the tutorial "2500d" I would have went to View->Simple Data Types and change the "double" value.

I am really curios and i want to learn how to do it myself.

//God, i am such a noob. I couldn't see the obvious. The only thing that i needed to do is replace 81 with C3. i thought 81->C3 meant something different. Fixed. Thank you.
