It's hard at first isn't it.... Well here is a little hint, don't base your rp around the ship you want to fly. Base you ship around your RP. I have a merc char (not rawshank) who flies a civvy bomber, and they are TERRIBLE, but it is part of the story, so I fly it with pleasure.

Well, my character has psychic powers and can use THE SUPER-FORCE (which is just like the Force, except it works on everyone), and I can SUPER-FORCE your character to buy a starflier and SUPER-FORCE you to planetdive over and over again!
Or, I could go buy a Dreadnought (I have the money for it, but it would be a waste), and just KOS you every time I see you because you killed my family! OMGREVENGE!

Anyway, newbie(as is you new given name[dont worry kindred called me that for the first month and a half that I played]), you should really change that Ship, and you dont want an Osiris(even more OORP for a Zoner than what u got), no, instead buy a really nice fighter(maybe a bomber) and learn to fly it, then learn to RP well, then make an Order or Corsair with a really really good RP story, and WHABAM! in about 4months you will have your beloved Osiris. And having it will be a hundred times better than if you had just run out and bought one.

I'm all for hearty welcomes and taking people by the hand at their first steps, but the least I want to see is a bit of humility and respect towards the others (in this case, the community). What are you on about, my friend? I don't quite understand what is it that you want. You posted a question for this thread's title, but your very first post was an statement in itself which mostly denying any chance that people actually answered your own question.
That aside. The other posts weren't very promising also. Your so called RP explanation for the said ship spiraled to become almost all of the known stereotypes for justifying a ship, rather than building up a character. And the attitude...
