More seriously, Treewyrm is working on changes to the Nomads. New models may not mean anything. At least not a color change. Shape changes are already being handled by him.
I dunno why suddenly they'd be 'red' - There isn't any lore point for it really. (Nor is there any desire to be)

Oi, don't take it too serious, I am about just to toy with more anthropomorphic beings/robotics for myself, nothing more. And the idea was indeed random...Well, just an idea to bring up more ideas probably.
And I am not pretending on whatever Treewyrm is doing, all I can is collect my jaw from the floor each time I see his works...
Couldn't tell without flood.
Either way, that model from Crossfire even I have to admit looks pretty darn cool. The Nomad ships have a ton of potential to warp around in cool ways, since they don't have to be constrained to look like a 'hull' such as human ships. I'd imagine that's pretty fun to play around with.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
