I like Nova ramming. All of my bombers are dual Novas. I love just not having to put real effort to deck out someone else. Sure I die most of the time, but it's so cheap and easy, it's dirty fun every once in a while. Of course, though, that's not the intended purpose of Novas. In fact, taking out snubs with novas is pretty much the opposite of what they should do. It's not that I don't like Nova ramming, but I feel like for the purpose of balance, this could be reworked somehow.
I suggest instead to give Novas a small arming time, if that is even possible - no more than 500 meters at most, perhaps. That's a safe engagement range for large capital ships, and it prevents people from just baiting others with dual novas.

They do. Provided the person firing the Nova isn't the one firing the CDs, Novas can be CD'd. This is how Battleships with coordinated fighter cover can resist nova bombings
Pinko's right though, point-blank CDs wont save you.

What started as a silly thing done by 1 or 2 people has grown into a large trend as of recent. Whilst novas are funny, I really hate it when people throw double nova bombers into snub fights. Would be good to have a mechanic to prevent that.
As long as someone doesn't get a full 7+ people kill streak in some groupfight I'm in, I'm fine with the double-Nova ram. As long as the person in question isn't a kamikaze, just...beyond insane.
