SUBJECT: An encounter with an unfortunate outcome

CONTENT: Recently I had an unpleasant experience. Normally, harming human beings is something that I and we cannot stand, but some times there's no alternative, and guns just have to replace speech as a better form of "communication".

That said, today we've encountered a civilian transport vessel with a freelancer transponder popping up from Omicron 100 in Omicron Mu. It appeared that the pilot was transporting nanocapacitors to Akabat, but the said pilot failed to explain himself who exactly contracted him, and how was that done in details. He however mentioned a so called friend of his in Texas, who have told him about Akabat, and somehow managed to give him accurate information on the route to here. This of course sounds utterly ridiculous, as how this fragile transport managed to pull off such a dangerous endeavour, and even get inside Omicron 100 is beyond me.

Such intruders that are even blatantly lying in front of O'Rhu and Order agents are usually dealt with by the standard procedures - termination. However, I've decided I'll take on a more peaceful path, and proposed the pilot to erase all the data associated with his "journey" from his ship's systems, after we board his vessel to oversee, and make sure this particular operation is done. Only then we could possibly let him go.

However, while I was laying my point across, all of a sudden the pilot attempted to contact, and seek "help" from Core vessels that might have possibly been around. As he tried to send a system wide message as well as trying to contact an entity outside of Mu in a different frequency.

And unfortunately, this costed him his life.

SUBJECT: Scouting mission briefing

CONTENT:As mentioned in our conversation earlier, I took Quint and we had a fun-run into Rheinland space to check on those heavy mining installations Daumann were using as we had a fix on one from the nav-map recon mission just a week ago. Naturally, we've closed it's last known position. Once there, we started a search sweep, no fancy wancy jim jam technique, just plain handbook stuff. After a couple of runs, Quint got a reading on his scanner and we approached it on impulse speed. To our bets of luck, the installation was involved in a mining operation as we closed it's location.

Let me say I was impressed right of the bat with that machine. That asteroid field it was in is a hell to navigate through even in a small craft, but that thing just kept on going, bumping asteroids like it had no worries what so ever. So, sturdiness? I'd say that is checked. Add to that the residual radiation in Munich which should scare anyone out of their minds if needed to stay there longer than a pass by and I am say to say that outer-plating must be something really special, heavy duty to say the least. With a couple of upgrades, I am confident will hold some accidental blasts.

Moreover, as you will see in the scans, the ship comes equipped with a pair of robotic arms that were moving stuff around with the greatest of ease. I think those can be repurposed for moving mines back in the desired position. We'll have to see what adaptations are needed there, as those fitted mining tools are no good for us.

The scans made their way to Thabit for analysis. I've attached one as sample.

I got a job for your lot as we've got a possible contract for those organisms that thrive in the space surrounding Meskhenet station.

I must say it took us quite the effort to make contact with a corporation which we hinted it might have interest into these things. Ever since those PFI| vessels started appearing around here I knew they must be valuable. No sane corporation would send a vessel all the way up here for the joy of a ride.The company in question is named Cryer...Cryer Pharmaceuticals. From what we know they may be the major dealers of meds around this part of Sirius. So, if they consider those things to be any good we might get our hands on some prime grade medical supplies.

So, the job, well that is fairly simple. You need to collect a sizable amount of Alien Organisms and prepare them in sample batches, by lots and dates. Keep them for now and at the right time a freighter will pick them up and deliver them to our possible buyers.

EVENTS: The Razgriz went for a standard patrol out near Omicron Delta at its station. However we heard of unusual activity in Omicron Lost. We redirected the Razgriz towards Lost and once in proceeded to Planet Moros, we found a familiar Canaan vessel and a freelancer at an old installation, surprisingly an old Crayterian facility. We proceeded to idle by however shortly after two Core vessels approached, the Eidolon Wraith Bullhead (Missing its usual commander I will note) And a Gunboat with a name i'm frankly too tired to repeat again. While the Canaan was aboard the station however the Core luckily moved away in another direction, and after Briggs stepped back aboard his ship we found he had a new person onboard, an old man supposedly from a cryo-tube, we let Canaan handle the situation since they felt they can sufficiently handle whether this indiviual is infected or not, however I am in close contact with Briggs in case anything arises. All in all, a good day, some action, with no unnecessary death. Find below Razgrizs' audio logs below as per usual.

I just have finished asserting the situation concerning the propulsion matter. I'll get straight to the point:

Firstly, we're going to have problems due to the limited infrastructure on Thabit. (which means available workforce, space, tools) It will only allow me to project and assemble just few prototypes of smaller size, suited for fighter chassis vessels to be exact. ( mass production of successful ones is not an option with this state of affairs) ... Even with suggested number of personnel to be assigned to the project. Chief engineer would like to highlight the matter of possible delays in maintenance and repairs of our vessels that may occur.

Secondly, the propulsion itself: Situation is not as bad as I anticipated. General schematics of the engines are indeed a couple of years old, but were definitely ahead of it's time when were made. Nowadays they are just ... average to be fair. I can see some areas where improvements are possible (if, of course, we want to stop on improvements). In my opinion, we should try to assemble something new of our own.

Thirdly, I would like to take a pick of what the the others have to offer. I am not talking about cheap, massively sold civilian designs, I want to examine stuff the military has exclusive. The more, the better.(cheap black market copies count out too) It is pointless to brake down an open door, if we can ... extract the solutions that would suit our needs, why not to use them? This way we could speed up the project for sure.

And of course ... we will need parts, lots of them...

Military designs ?!? You'll have to tell me what you have in mind. We can do that while we go look for that former colleague of yours, Vogel. Yes, I will accompany you, as this will be your first incursion undercover. I hope you weren't expecting solitude for this one....

Concerning the materials, you've seen our guys in the Logistics. They will take care of what is needed, whenever that will be possible. The work hours are already stretched to maximum. Another drawback will be the estimated cost for this whole project of yours. Again, we'll talk in person and settle on a sum. We work on limited fundings here.

I apologize for the delay in this report. CV-Century was engaged in several skirmishes the weeks after this took place and the logs were buried until I sat down to catch up on mission reports. This event took place in Tohoku as the CV-Century and CV-Indio were analyzing strange energy readings from the Nomad infested station. Shortly after we started our investigation, several Core vessels and an unknown vessel claiming to be a Buro agent appeared. As it turned out the unknown vessel carried the energy signature we had been tracking. After lengthy questioning from both sides, I demanded the vessel drop the Energy Core producing the unknown energy signature, the pilot refused and joined Core in an Assault against both the Century and Indio. We suffered heavy damages and crew losses before limping home. Id advice all pilots who encounter this energy signature to steer clear until we understand just what we're dealing with.

Our boys operating the supply chain report that there is a hellload of trash stuffed in Omicron Minor. It looks like the thrash they are talking about are our derelict vessels left to rot out there. By the way, I think most of the stuff there is still operational, so this place could be an oasis for our dry budget. Preparations won't really cost us anything as we have all the eq. needed on place. All that we ask for is to assign some escorts and give us a green light.
