It is an ordinary exchange of views on obviously rather interesting things, a discussion supported by arguments. Besides, I never threatened everyone like you mention a few posts back. In fact the tone of the original post was of a semi-joking nature; rarely do people speak in a manner reminiscent of 19th century with serious, let alone threatening intent.

It used to work in the past. The personification if imagination should be an open-minded entity.
The only problem is that you forgot this is the internet and it is hard to express emotions like sarcasm in your posts. Which the OP probably was like you stated above, semi-joke.
"Tone", if it were TeamSpeak you could have said it in a tone that would point towards this being a joke. Via text things come out blunt to some people and this whole thing managed to break out because of it. |:

I agree. However, we can't be that sensitive. I see nothing bad happening in this thread so far. Hell, I would be out all day duelling people if I were to follow the oh-so-sensitive, easily offended attitude that has beset this place.
nice use of long words here, forums are not the best to sound off if you have a grievance about something or someone
if you want i cant make a Jeremy kyle channel in ts and invite all parties in to sort it, im sure there's someone called graham that could get on the show and be there as well
What I see here is just you are mad that you lost user title we all did lost them it was a decision of admin team I think and your first post was way of threating attitude
You can ignore reality but you can not ignore consequences of ignoring reality

Ok I read this, and go back from first post to read all other posts. With all due respect, I can't seem to understand what is the point you are trying to make.

In a world long ago, before the new forum, anybody with over 2000 posts could create their own title. It's rather unfortunate to see that gone. And this new, strange hesitance on the part of the moderating team about allowing people to create titles is nothing short of baffling from my perspective.
Things have changed very much since I've left.
That said, I found your OP quite humorous. Good on your for keeping things fun while also making your point. People have certainly ragequited over less.

And all we receive in return from keeping forums clean, changing stuff, searching for troublesome people is hate and disregard. So it's some kind of our little reward. Happy?
And regarding elitism... look at yourself
Basically, what Shinju said.
Also, you all are arguing on the internet, about custom user titles and who has them and who should/shouldn't have them...and it's really unnecessary.
Sure, I personally think Custom User Titles should be easier to get, but I also think that there are too many people here who overreact to things and immediately resort to throwing vitriole and hate out at whoever they can find to blame for a problem.
You know, in some larger internet communities, like say...Star Citizen, they (CIG) actually hire people and pay them real money, to do a lot of the same things that the Administrators, Moderators, and even the Angels do here on Disco for free.
If you have a problem with something that was changed by the staff, contact them directly and deal with it, like an adult...instead of making a thread intent on stirring up drama.
