Could future patches please include up-to-date clientside .ini and .cfg files?
Especially things like prices.cfg are extremely useful to have, since otherwise one has to search for relevant threads (which may contain outdated info) or in the game itself, which is a hassle.

FLStat won't detect the prices in those files unless it has a dynamic economy function. They're implemented severside which is why you won't find them in the client files.
The reason it's done that way now is because other servers complained a lot when new patches from us overwrote their local configurations.
I get why the files aren't included locally, but it would be nice if they were all (prices, rephacks, technerfs, etc) publicly hosted via the player utilities tab here on the forum.

We stopped releasing up to date flhook configs with patches due to some server owners crying very loudly on our forums. I'm sure you can just ask vipex to send you a copy of the file.
Can that file be just added along with the always incomplete patchnotes?

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

Any forum-accessible location would be nice, doesn't have to be the actual clientside game files.
I guess I could get them from a dev but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has an interest, wouldn't it be easier to just have them posted somewhere?

How about instead of a handful of random people crying rivers and forcing the main server owners to use serverside configs on the main server, they start using serverside configs on their own little servers if they want to run their own stuff differently? Sounds like the many bending to the will of the few, which I'm not really in favor of.

No it doesn't. We've been using serverside configs because the server software, flhook and its configurations are, surprise, not clientside apps. The admins and devs have no trouble with it. We simply stopped integrating these to public patches.
As I said if you need the file, and pretty much 2 guys will ever be interested in it on this forum, you can just ask a dev for it.

Could we just have a thread to download them at?
