- For example why did people get the ability to feel? There are billions of species in the world, but none of them have the ability to differ right from wrong, or even think about it in the first place. And they are completely fine with it. Humans on the other hand suffer from this ability much more then not. Most of the time they try not to use it even. If you were to believe that humans evolved from something, having such ability makes no sense.
-I dare to guess this was an accident. A lot of things came to be that way. An accident. A flight of birds arrived at the wrong island and formed a new dominant species, an ant queen went a little further into the mountains, giving birth to something new, a monkey crossed that little barrier between blessed simplicity and intelligence after figuring out how to use sticks for a lot more than scratching it's back... We're a spawn of chaos, if you excuse my poetic finish.
- Sounds like religion... - his look turned slightly bored for a moment - Believing in accidents, believing in God... Also sounds quite pathetic. Humans tend to think that they are the top being. But if they were developed by the series of accidents... oh boy. - he laughed out.
- I never really had my views called a 'religion" before. Oh... - Flora suddenly stopped, almost bumping into her own ship. The Black Dragon was almost invisible in the dark. - That was close. Thanks again. - she took off the jerkin and gave it to Sean. She then pressed a few buttons on her PMD™ and her ship's canopy opened, with a few faint lights turning on in the cockpit.
- Well, what else is it? Science? If science is just guesses, I am worried about reliability of the current world. You believe in your own version and... well... what is a religion? Belief. - he took his jerkin and smiled to Flora - You are welcome.
While Flora was opening her ship Sean took his time to put the jerkin back on. He then quickly pulled out his candy bundle, rose his mask, tossed one in his mouth and then stretched the hand with a bundle to Flora - Have some more while we are on the ground?
- We're leaving? - she swiftly climbed the ladder and asked him from above. She then picked her own jacket and put it on, simply jumping down on the ground afterwards. - Well, sure. - she grabbed a handful. - And, hm... Makes sense, though I still wouldn't call my beliefs a "religion". - she put the candies in her pocket.
- Well, it's still worth about as much. I mean, it's not a science, science is about facts. - with a bundle in his hands still he headed to his ship - And yeah, I thought so... - he added with a chuckle as he quickly unlocked his ship and disappeared inside of it. After a few moments he came back, wearing the long and quite luxurious, even if still in his usual color, coat, bottom of which was reaching only slightly under his knees.
- Okay, now I am prepared to spend the whole night in here. - with a giggle he walked up back to Flora.
- My beliefs are almost offended. - she chuckled and zipped up the upper part of the suit, waiting for him to return from his ship.
- That's the spirit. - she replied when he came back. - Now... - she looked at her PMD to check the local time. - The main point of this trip should start showing up soon enough.
