Final patrol for the day was hectic. I joined Liberty Police as well as Liberty Navy and Liberty Security forces against multiple pirates.rogues and hackers all massed in New York. i took part in four firefights and one arrest. After this i proceeded to escort Prison Liner AB8 Around liberty space for roughly 1 one hour before returning to base. On my way back to base i came across a freelancer carrying 3000 sorted artifacts but before i can intercept he cloaked.
First patrol today was rather uneventful.
I completed a patrol of New York, Colorado, Texas, California. Only encountered a few hostiles but they were swiftly dealt with.
Also during this patrol i noticed more cloaked vessels moving through liberty space but was unable to identify them.
The new york badlands seems to be the most popular area as of late, very difficult to follow targets into the area.
Second patrol today was extremely busy.
I spent a greater part of four hours chasing four hostile ships. Hostile Factions: Lane Hackers, Liberty Rogues, Rogues.
These hostile ships had set up at the Denver trade lane and were attacking civilian and military transports. I was extremely out gunned and unable to do much in the way of deviating these activity's until and LSF agent engaged them for some idiotic reason forcing me to intervene.
Both my ship and the LSF ship where incapacitated and had to return to base for repairs and medical attention.
Last reports indicate they are still operating within liberty space
Last nights patrol was an interesting one.
I was informed of a pirate vessel attacking the Manhattan trade lanes so i proceeded to search for this vessel.
A few moments later i was enforced that the pirate vessel was Destroyer class and because of that backup was called. The LNS Texas responded to the call and followed the target vessel under cloak.
Upon reaching the pirate vessel i informed him he had to leave liberty space and pay a fine for his activity's.
He pretended to be compliant but ultimately didn't leave.
The LNS Texas then engaged the hostile craft after coming out of cloak directly beside him.
I proceeded to help in the engagement which lasted around 30 seconds. The vessel was destroyed while on approach to Manhattan.
Last nights patrol was the most interesting yet.
Firstly last night when i was on patrol i went to make a routine stop of a civilian vessel.
She was ordered to halt but refused and also refused to answer any questions.
I proceeded to shutdown the lane she was traveling on so i could continue my line of questioning. Instead of stopping she engaged cruise engines.
I armed a Cruise Disrupter and hit her vessels engines.
She still refused to stop so i warned her the fleeing a LPI officer is a crime and she will be fired upon if she doesn't halt immediately.
Ignoring my directions she continued to flee forcing me to engage.
Seconds after engaging the target a Liberty Navy vessel engaged me out of nowhere with no warning severely damaging my vessel.
The navy vessel then proceeded to threaten me saying "get lost, its two verses one"
Both vessels fled liberty space for a extended time, The navy vessel later returned.
upon his return he was greeted me and another officer who quickly shut down his engines and the trade lane.
And investigation ensued led by the other officer acting as an neutral party.
After around and hour of questions to both me and the navy pilot the conclusion was reached that i was well within my rights and his actions of assaulting a Primary Fleets officer was illegal.
He agreed he was in the wrong and payed compensation for damages to my vessel ending the matter.
Towards the end of the shift me and officer hannes came across a vessel transporting illegal substances and ordered them to halt, him and his accompanying piloet proceeded to "moon" us and consume the illegal substance. He was Charged with carrying illegal cargo, Public indecency, Public disturbance, Flying under the influence and assaulting a police officer.
we proceeded to chase the subjects for a very long time but faced interference from freelancers in different forms Including shutting down trade lanes and firing on our vessels.
First patrol today.
Came across a fugitive in New York fort bush region.
We engaged in a dogfight for a short time resulting in damage to my ship. Due to unforeseen circumstances he was able to escape but this allowed me to stop an incoming smuggler.
the smuggler refused to dump his goods and was therefore destroyed with extreme prejudice.
Also P.O.B 3 was attacked but LSF managed to destroy the target before i arrived.
Second patrol today was uneventful.
I spent an hour or so patrolling my usual systems and scanning vessels, Not much going on other then a outcast who keeps plaguing the NY lanes.
I engaged this vessel a few times through out the patrol but was unable to destroyed him.
Also noticed a cloaked signal again but was unable to located its origin.
As Harrison has stepped down from his position as my deputy due to personal issues, I guess I need a new one now don't I? Well, Patricia Lyonns, with all the work you have put into the department and all the effort put in each day to pick up the tipped over paperwork in my office you are officially promoted to deputy chief of police. Get your complimentary donut and your new transmitter in the Plaza, as well as a high volume tazer from our armory so you can boss the plebs.. *cough* I mean lower ranked officers around. Congrats.
Finial patrol last night was extremely quiet.
Last night i started my finial patrol with the usual patrol of liberty space checking papers and scanning passing vessels.
No one of suspicious was found so i proceed to take some time to do some training and upgrade my police craft.
Also upgrading the armor and weaponry of the vessel.
Patrol today ended interesting.
I came across a illegal Pirate transport outside Manhattan he was stopped and docking rights were removed.
He was informed his vessel was illegal in liberty space.
after he looked into these charges he agreed that he was in the wrong.
He was offered two choices. his vessel was impounded on the spot or he payed a fine a left liberty space.
He agreed to pay the fine then proceeding to sell his vessel for a legal one.
