Hey Guys. I've been thinking about getting a new set of diodes and circuits, cause the old one is getting .. well .. old. Here's what I've decided to put together , taking my wallets limitations into account.
I'd like to know what you guys think of it.
For some reason, I started to like the AMD duo , I know some ppl don't like it mutch , I was the same , but my current rig runs with an AMD / Radeon duo and it is doing things well, even after multiple unfortunate events happening to it.
If you've done some research, you probably heard of AMD driver overhead. I won't go into details, but basically, AMD GPUs tend to get bottlenecked by AMD CPUs. The result is lots of microstuttering which otherwise wouldn't happen with the same card and an Intel equivalent of the CPU you're using. However, seeing as it's a budget build, you can't do better than that. Even though Intel CPUs offer better performance, AMD is the king of budget builds since it offers a much better price to performance ratio.
Only real tips I can give you is.... don't buy the very latest gear.
Always go for 'tried and true', one generation back is ideal, it will most likely be 6 months old, but because of that there will be *lots* of reviews and lastly, research research research.
Go 'net surfing and find out what people are saying about what you plan to buy and just don't look at what industry groups are saying, try and find out what 'the man on the street' is saying out the items you are going to buy..... which is what you are doing here. good move :p
