When I said you should expect a transmission from me soon, I meant it, mister Faulkner. And to think that you even asked of me to allow you to freely enforce laws. Well, the main point here is, I caught you with a cute load of black market munitions, I'm sure whoever you are dealing with will pay a hefty price to obtain them, but most likely it wont be enough to cover the fine I'm about to slap your sorry ass with.
Individuals found to be associated with, condoning or conducting criminal activities will be subject to on-site punishment by any officer of the Liberty forces present, ranging from a verbal warning to immediate use of lethal force. Legal action may follow if applicable.
In the house of Liberty, the following are classed as crimes:
I. Contraband possession and restricted commodities.
It is illegal to have any amount of these goods on your person at any time:
• Artifacts • Black Market Munitions • Cardamine • Counterfeit Software • Gallic Gate/Lane Parts • Human Organs • Liquid Cardamine • Nomad Remains and other Nomadic materials • Nox • Nuclear Devices • Slaves • Sorted Artifacts • Stabiline • Synthetic Marijuana
Quote:
IV. Non-violent crimes.
Fleeing from an officer when stopped. This is defined as fleeing any officer when he or she is attempting to question you. If an officer stops you using a cruise disruptor, that is an expression of his or her will to stop you. Ignoring this is a crime.
You cloaked away to flee as I attempted to stop you. Thankfully I was in range for the cargo scan, which I will put down in the attachments. For breaking Section 1.1 by carrying contraband listed in the law you are to pay a fine of ten million standard Sirius credits to the account of LPI-Treasury. For breaking section 1.4 by fleeing when approached by an officer of the law you are to pay a fine of three million standard Sirius credits to the before mentioned account of LPI-Treasury. You have seventy two hours to comply or action will be taken against you. Have a good day, mister Faulkner, and I hope we see eachother again soon.
Regards,
Chief Rogers, Liberty Police Incorporated

I was already thinking about proposing money to fix thing, but I think you proposed it itself. Good, I don't need to bother with any proposals. This is what we call business, Mr Rogers. I fully appreciate your dedication to the Republic and its business, but I assume some additional coin would suffice in these hard times for Libertonian economy. You know, I earn something and LPI looks away, time to time for a nice donation. A fair deal would that be, isn't it? The refusal would be... highly regretable, as I am sure that even LPI, a private police contractor, do also have problems in resource management and would make use of some private donations - hasn't it?

-As the feed starts you can see Rogers grin, chuckling to himself, in fact looking like he is about to burst into laughter. After a short sigh to somewhat calm himself he switches his view towards the transmission screen- My oh my you are a dumb one. What stops me from opening this transmission to the Liberty navy and our security force right now? An attempt of bribery, how daring. One thing is attempting to bribe an officer on duty, in space, over private comms where no-one can hear, but over a transmission connected through New Yorks main node, tsk. Not that our officers take bribes from anyone, -Jax clears his throat as he says it with a cough- corruption was purged.. yeah.
With this I guess its time to add "attempt of bribery" to the list of crimes! Because I'm a nice person.. yeah, I'm going to let you evaluate, how much will the fine for it be. If you don't comply, expect your sentence to be a year of public service in one of the Planet Los Angeles zoo's. I believe the wolves will like you very much around there.

I expected something more, Mr Rogers. Someone intelligent and cunning, wise enough to gain money from their high position and bend law to their own unholy bidding. I was wrong then, very wrong. You will have no use for me, I suppose. I was almost considering paying the fine, but then remark about Zoo was quite unfortunate. But then, if you are so much for a pen pushed - you must realize you cannot retroact decisions, so I suppose previous fine of 13 million credits will be considered to be paid within said 72 hours.
I, truly, expected something more than yet another idealistic cop. Very well. As I said, expect the payments. Sooner, or later. Till the next time, Dear Mr Rogers.

You know some of us have more things in mind then just money. Riding space of talking carpets such as yourself is one of my personal goals. Yes Faulkner, for the first two offenses the fine still stands. But as I said, you will have to pay for that attempt of bribery if you don't want to have wolves sniffing you in the before mentioned zoo. Since you don't want to take the liberty of deciding your own payment for that, I'm setting it to twenty five million in addition to the previous thirteen. That makes a total of thirty eight right? I'm just a dumb cop I don't know maths. When the payment is received my accountants will notify me. Have a good day and don't bark at any more people on my shift.

I gave you a friendly hand, yet you failed to earn from it. Your... remarks are something that I cannot accept. Thus, I regretably must refuse your generous offer smelling like a forceful corruption which would make you a very interesting target for certain lawyers knowing their job - all because of your foolish remarks, pen pusher.

I will issue one last warning, mister Faulkner. If the set fines aren't settled in the next 48 hours there will be consequences. Such involve your docking rights to a lot of, lets say crucial, Liberty installations, suddenly disappearing. Just poof! And they're gone. Since I'm reasonable I'll let you reconsider the decision of your last statement. Account onto which you will transfer the funds still stands, its LPI-Treasury in case you have forgotten. I hope there is just a bit of sanity left in that little brain of yours mister Faulkner, and I hope I hear back from you soon.

I can't really understand why we both care about it so much, Mr Rogers. I am a petty dealer, not worth your hassle. Why not to hunt some Rogues, Xenos or Slavers, instead of poking your nose into business of the smallest?
This said, you bother someone with barely one million cred income a week via almost 40 million fine I have no way to repay in any form at the moment. Are you sure you don't want any other form of repaying the debt? Please? Or just put it into rates?
I pretty admit that our first contact was quite... unfortunate.
